Not sure why everyone hates the rubber... it looks fine to me. There's a million things that bug me about the figure... but that's not one of them.

Dr Wu's kit does have some sort of fix for the shoulders if I'm not wrong. There's two tiny white pieces that will attach on the back right below the shoulders.

^CGI renders of the kit from Dr. Wu show 2 little rectangular pieces, those must be the shoulder fixes.

Didn't Peaugh already show how to properly transform the shoulders?

I installed Customs by Z's Shapeways head. It's smaller. But it still doesn't fix the nosecone problem. The main problem is that damn spring from underneath and the fact that even if it was a perfect fit with minimal spring that soft plastic is going to get worn down to useless over time. Put me in the camp that will wait for a more involved fix. Either from Hasbro (come on, Doubledealer!... yeah right) or some other third party.

Ironically, I've spent more time with this toy than either of the two better executed triple changer wavemates.

If I was to get one, Dr. Wu is the obvious winner so far. SXS's head looks like garbage, and the colors are hilariously wrong.

Agreed... the shoulder fixes are nice, but the head doesn't look much better than the original.

Dr.Wu seems obvious 'cuz of the multiple faces. If it came with a shoulder fix too then it is the clear choice for me.

Watched it... doesn't work for shit on mine... they pop right back out with the tiniest amount of pressure. Do you own this guy? Do the shoulders work for you? Maybe you can give me some direction here...

The Dr. Wu set actually might have a shoulder upgrade kit (Similar to the styrene Blitzwing arm fix).

i tried it too, didn't work for me either, peaugh's blitzwing must've been one of the earliest batch when the mold for the soft shoulder tabs hasn't degraded to the point that it wouldn't latch on.

it does feel kinda silly having to spend $30 to just to fix a $20 toy though.

Absolute rubbish, the SXS head looks fantastic and the colours are fine. Look much better in the flesh. Not matching, but break the other purples up nicely, especially the shoulders.

Dr Wu as i believe that set also has a shoulder fix.

Saying that I'm still not sure I should spend more money on this figure.
Maybe one day someone will make a pair of legs for it that will actually bend at the knee and not half way up his thigh.
