That head is lacking in detail, especially on the sides. The gun is cool but meh on the price. I'll pass.

 

smart move to start picturing this gun with other figs...so many people are done with TFP, so they don't care about this anymore.

Still think the head is too wide. The optimus prime head in the actual show was the same head he had early on..not sure why they didn't just go with that design.

Could do with a slightly better paint job, IMO.

The guns are cool though.

 

Hate the gold on black on red, but the silver on red is intriguing. May bite.

 

Head is awful. Price is too high.

Like the weapon, but no way I'm touching it at this price.

 

Love both color schemes for the gun. The head does not particularly impress. I'm not sure yet whether an incredible gun is worth that price. Maybe. It isn't like there aren't other successful 3p accessories out there which are more expensive than the base figure. And we all know that quality 3p products are expensive. It's the nature of the beast.

So how do I unpin the old head? there was a video showing how can't find it now. Any specific tool to use?

Cracked open this thing and put it on my custom Beast Hunters Optimus. I like it though I don't care for the head it comes with so that stayed in the box. But the cannon itself came out very nicely.
