I agree with every statement. I truly hope they pull a Mech Ideas for the fans on this and release this set at a golden price where these would sell in large quantities. I mean if they hit a 70 or less price point with these I don't think there is a single person on this forum that would pass on them

$60 would be the magic number I'd think, shaving $10 off the larger Demo Crue, but $70 would be a big draw as well, as they're pretty popular characters and still in the IDW spotlight (well, Gears is just background, but Swerve more than makes up for his lack of visibility) compared to the dearly departed Topspin & Twintwist.

Plus they look so damn good!

This is a set.... So, your $60 is basically $120.

I want these bad. I agree with slim maximus, $70 or under and I'm sold. I think that's a fair price even though I don't know what goes into deciding the final price. But from a constant buyer of third party figures I'm used to the astronomical prices so well see.

This Is third party.. We will be lucky if the price tag is at 90 for these... Not saying I'm not wishing for a low price too...

We are referring to a set price not individual prices. The Demo Crew was $65/70 depending when and where you got it, for 2 bots. That is what we are suggesting that this box set be $70 or less not $70 or less for each figure. If this set breaks $80 they are going to lose a lot of potential buyers imo. I know I'm out if it goes that high

If the quality is amazing, I could go $80 for the pair. I can't justify any more than that for such small figures.

I'm going to wait for the price to be released before I decide.

    ......Aaannd...STILL no pre-orders. :rolleyes2

( I feel like I've made this post already. :inquisiti )

Hey Daimchoc, any word ? They have: finished product just ready to go, they have multiple galleries displaying these guys, and they have a good chunk of the fandom fighting over the up-coming speculated price...

What more do they want..., a haiku, a written love letter...(sigh).

...Dear Make Toys...You make me feel...

Yeah lol, I told my girlfriend about them and said they were delayed slightly because of Chinese New Year. She then told me it lasts all week. Which is probably why I bought Orion yesterday. lol

Hey now, speculating about price only means the 3P retailers will gouge the fandom, donchaknow.

That statement is quite presumptuous, good sir.

"Gouge us?", Please. The folks over at MT are big boys. They don't need our help to do that. They got this :D

First maketoys release I won't be getting. Don't care much for MTME so I'll take the $10 Hasbro version of swerve.

And did we really need you coming into this thread just to tell us that "you don't want this"? ...And the "$10.00" Hasbro release is also MTME...(sigh). :rolleyes2

Well, behind you sir is the door.

I'm biding my time here... I like the Hasbro version, and will probably get it if I ever see it, but I plan on getting this guy. Wait. Oh yeah, Gears, too. Sure, why not.

But seriously, I'm in it for Swerve. I knew I was going to love the character between Hoist and Trailbreaker's pack-in comics.

    It's so beautiful:_)

And I love the slightly different designs. Of course if the gun is a separate add-on, people with the Hasbro Swerve can just get the gun.
