I gotta say, I'm loving these guys. They're not without a minor nitpick or two, but all-in-all they're phenomenal little 'bots. I love how Swerve just oozes with personality.

Got mine yesterday. Love them.. has fun putting MFB together. Joints on those guys are scary tight though, I was nervous with them a few times.

Just picked up my set from the Post Office this morning, and I think they are awesome. Most pictures (99.9%) seem to show the figures mis-transformed a bit.

Most people with the figure seem to skip step 4 in the instructions, and that is where you swing the "sides of the canopy/cockpit/windshield/thing" under the arms to fill out their torso. I hope that helps some of you, as the figures definitely look a bit better when transformed properly.

I can take pics if it helps, but they are pictures correctly on the box in the official pics by MakeToys. Just look at their "armpits" and you will see the canopy sides are folded up under there to complete the torso.

On a side note...I'd be interested in buying another Swerve in case anyone is getting a set just for Gears. I need a Swerve for my desk at work.

Oops, I'm one of them. Thanks for the tip, man!

By the way, anyone knows a place to store the weapons in bot mode?

That's cool man...I honestly thought I broke one of them when I did it, because I was looking at the pics in the thread...but then thought it looked better.

Checked out the instructions and saw it was a step. Figured it was better to say something now to help everyone out. But I'm at work and can't upload a picture...so I kept searching for pics of where someone did it right and couldn't find one until I looked at the box itself!

I was missing that as well, but I feel like it really only helps Swerve's appearance, not Gears. Just as well, there's clearance issues with Gears' waist, the inlaid window pieces rub quite a bit when you try to swing it into the forward position, one actually started to come out of its socket a bit the second time I tried it. The window pushes right back in, but it's something to be aware of.

Yeah, I did not look at the instructions when I transformed the figures the first time. Good thing you noticed it!

Mine are at home or else I'd snap a pic, but those pieces swing together to allow another piece to rotate forward. Mess with the white area above the swinging red pieces on Swerve and you should be able to find it. You can look at the box too, it's particularly evident on Gears as it results in the backs of the side windshield pieces facing forward in 'bot mode. Just be aware the piece isn't going to want to easily move past Gears' hips when you try to rotate it in place, it may even pop out the clear window bits when you do.

Here you go! This should help. Take a look at the white parts right underneath his arm.

In the first picture, you can see that's how he was usually left, but in the second picture, it shows that the white part swings into place to close off the torso.

You can do it on Gears as well...just make sure to pull the waist swivel forward to allow clearance. It's tight, but doable, as Shatterblast mentioned.

I got excited and posted pictures without double checking. I accidently found it messing around with Swerve later and then promptly forgot about it after transforming him a few times....Durr

    I needed that reminder. Thanks!
