Yeah, Cassy considers him Ultra class.

    Are they still a thing?

Holy shit what a gorgeously badass mold. Orange and black is such a sick colour combo choice, and those feet with the wheels are wicked. The hands look so creepy and evil too. This shit rules, i'm stoked to actually have this in hand.

Cassy did Igear's Brawn and Citizen Stack? did not realize that.

This fig looks impressive, pretty damned excited to get it. Minor thing, but I Kinda wish there was a little more orange on the head, maybe on the cheeks or framing the skull in some way, but it looks great as is.

We've chatted about this internally, and we've only had a handful of people request a transformation video. We are reticent to do it, as we feel it could diminish the effect of that first, magic, in-hand transformation experience. After all, that is the payoff for backing the project and waiting all those months, right?

I'm not saying we WON'T release a video, but it's going to need a vocal majority requesting it to get us to commit to it.

Cassy has done well over 100 figures my now I'm sure, especially if you include repaints and the like. PP05, the Mini-Warrior line, iGear Raptor Squadron, all of KFC, majority of Reformatted figures for MMC, Mech iDeas including Piston / Gauntlet, and a whole bunch of other stuff that has never been revealed to the public for various reasons.

Check out the other heads, they have an abundance of orange.

I think it's pretty funny that he did both iGear's Presser (never released) and MMC's Spartan.

Obviously it's great that this is its own IP, and I definitely encourage that endeavor, but strangely looking at the pictures right now I can envision (in my head canon, if nowhere else) Lockdown living in this universe.

I still want to see that Lugnut render of Cassy's made some day, or at least I'm pretty sure that was his.

Anyway, have stores like BBTS shown any interest in these?

Yeah, had to wait for his iGear non-compete clause to expire before he could work on Spartan, which shows just how long ago Presser was designed. I love Spartan, but I'm still sore we never got Presser. :(  Equally gutted that I didn't get to work on either of them.

Lockdown was never planned for this range, and given that Cassy designed Jaegartron / Anubis for MMC, his contract would probably prevent him doing a Lockdown colouration.

    Yes, that Lugnut was Cassys.

All the emphasis is currently on making the KS succeed, rather than retail plans. We hope for both.

That's the best idea, PWTT got to far ahead of itself, and ended up falling apart both times. This is showing a great deal of promise, backed.

You know, I really wasn't going to comment since this project doesn't interest me (but seems well thought out and I wish it success). But after that group pic of Cassy's past designs, I can't contain myself.

Cassy Sark: master of unnecessary parallel lines, weird torso/waist/leg proportions and rotating hip/waist holsters that nobody needs but they serve to make transformations needlessly frustrating.

I sincerely hope that Cassy is not the only designer, i.e. that there will be a round of refinement after the initial design stage - done by someone else. I do own almost all the figures in that pic, BTW.

Considering they already have a prototype, I sincerely doubt any design changes will be made.

Nor do I think they need to be made.

At the stage they appear to be at, it is highly unlikely that they would make any alterations to the design.
