Seriously? Do we need multiple third party Perceptors when the HasTak version isn't all that bad???

Trust me its Grif being funny, he made a joke about it being Perceptor as soon as he even mentioned the project and mere mintues later was sad some people missed the joke and confirmed it is in fact not Perceptor. The joke name stuck though and he kept referring to it as that, the picture is now an extension of that fake "code name" I guess you could call it. This thread really shouldn't have been made (since we already had one for it)and should be locked now, as it will only cause more people to think its legit.

Once again, THIS IS A JOKE AND MMC IS NOT MAKING PERCEPTOR. TFcon will reveal to us what the real character will be based on as we even know for a fact it is another creature character, similar to the Predacons.

So please go to this thread if you're interested: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...rmind-creations-next-project-mega-thread.html thankyou.

I don't doubt your knowledge on the subject, and now see that it was in fact a joke. However, that's why this is a reckless endeavor on their part. They have a handful of people who understand the nature of the inside joke, but they released it to the masses. Over 4 thousand people have liked their facebook page, and you can tell by the comments most don't understand it's a joke. I do agree with you that this thread has proven to be redundant and should be closed.

I dunno, it seems to me that the name "Dorctrinus Scope" is enough of a giveaway that it's a joke? They called him "Dorc"!

Anyway, isn't this more fun than seeing some blacked-out silhouette?

    Yeah.

MMC gets a lot of love for the way they go about things but this is just a plain stupid way to wind up the majority who aren't going to know the in-joke - like me. Save this sort of crap for April and stick to actually releasing some damn product.

You say that like a reveal of a new product has anything at all to do with one in development, it does not. Them showing something new in no way impacts the development process of an existing thing. Right now the only element of the Rex figures that remains to be finished is the final color choice and the production of the parts ala the products themselves, design and engineering wise they are finished so it makes complete sense their design and engineering team would now be focusing on something else. You'd rather have them sitting around doing nothing? because either action isn't going to speed up production on Rex.

yep the factory can't go any faster even if I fly down there with a cat o' nine tails and flog them silly. In fact there's little I can do for Feral Rex from this stage. They are making mods and adjustments faster than I have time for checking and that's a good sign.

I'm gonna test print Perceptor today with our new printer and will spend some time to refine it. I do agree that any discussion should be continued in the megathread ;)

    No, that would be over-reacting.

I say that as someone that's supported MMC from the HOS days and would rather they didn't use fan-communication to confuse the heck out of the unweary......like me.

I wonder if this pic was one of NECIO's first "official" jobs for MMC. :)

I hope I'm posting in the right thread ... anyway, I'm quite impressed with what I've seen from the latest pics. I like it much, much better than than the other 3P Perceptor, the one with the gangsta pistols. MMC's looks more G1 Perceptor toy updated than their Feralcons vs G1 Predacons.

I'm not really into Autobots but just might pick this one up if the price is reasonable :)

Well, the KFC product will actually become a toy you can buy. That's so so certain with MMC.

It ain't over yet I think there is enough room for both those who like the new look and those who dig the old look.

Jus to try both molds, I'd get one of each. I'm curious what KFC's version of The Doctor looks like.
