I find it hilarious that anyone would consider a ko of this when the original is clogging shelves up outside the US. I know it was hard to find one on the shelves there, but if you're gonna import may as well get a proper one.

 

Bottom line - price.

 

Pfffffffffffffffffffft. Have you seen how much it costs us to import official products? I could literally have bought two MP-10's with the money it would cost me to import one if it weren't for TRUbro screwing up localization.

 

the picture they use is from a custom metallic painted MP-10. how awesome owul dit be if the "KO" actuallly looked like that. How much do you want to bet btw, we are seeing MP-10 reissued by takara sometime soon....either as optimus, magnus, or a blue diaclone repaint?

although mp-10 has been out since when...fall of 2011? that is more then enough time for an old fashioned reverse engineered KO vs. the "factory backdoor special" type this same seller did for sideswipe (if that is indeed the prevailing thought still).



oh and of course people will buy this for price....that link shows waht....400 yuan...tahts like $66, even if shipping is $40 thats much less than what you'll pay for an official one now. of course some like to get the whole FU hasbro thing too lol.

got to laugh not only is it being ko'd which means the price is not going to be high they are bloody making improvements  

think 2 are going to be bought one for me and one for my daughter

only thing is this going to affect hastaks future sales of future mps as some might wait for the inevitable ko meaning less money for hastak to plow into the mp line and eventually killing the line?

 

This, your looking at a bare minimum of $250 to get him now, he looks awesome and I want him but I refuse to pay a scalpers price or the insane cost of international shipping for something that was released here just poorly.

Hmm... I actually don't care one way or the other about the upgrades as long as the fit and finish are solid. I do however apreciate these high quality KOs. The Takara MP-10 was easy enough to get when it came out but really pricy (here in Canada) and the TRU MP-10 may as well have been a myth (came out during a 30% off sale got snatched by scalpers and loose+boxed collectors and then were never heard from again). The worst part was after getting the TT version I only really wanted a Has version was for a custom, didnt need the trailer or accesories, I'd actually feel much better converting two KOs. Looking forward to the pictures of this.

 

What would the quality be like on this?

 

Okay I am officially VERY interested in this! I do hope it comes with the trailer though, as that was half the reason I wanted to get this Optimus^^

 

This is interesting, I already have an MP 10 and the Hasbro one, but will probably pick up a KO just to mess around with and keep it at the office.

 

I wonder if anyone will pull an iGear and product a downscaled version
