Correct. This is a speculation thread. So we are in a discussion and commenting on others' speculations. Hence a forum.
^nope, just responding to your initial response of sarcasm in kind. Anyhow, back on topic, if it's voyager classic seekers, it could be interesting. I would be down for a set. To finally have something for classics display.
thinking on this further i actually hope they copy a design from somone atleast that way though could get the damn face right
Remolding existing seekers into coneheads is different from turning combining Aerialbots into seekers.
Between official stuff and KOs I have so many Classics Seekers that I don't think I'm in the market for more. But we'll see what they come up with .... and IF they release it. That's a pretty big if. They couldn't even get their minibots released and I STILL want their new take on the Sharkticons. With iGear there's nothing to get excited about until they release their product.
if its a copy of the dlx classics mold with enhancement that could be nice. The original classics design was great, but we are what, 7-8 years ahead now in engineering, so if they are really doing seekers for classics, I am hoping for more articulation and better engineering design.
There is a reason why iGear stopped copying designs a while ago. Harder to get distribution. I expect these will be original molds. They say "Raptor" which is the F-22. The TFC jets lack a Raptor, they have an F-15 Eagle. Raptor was movie Starscreams although mode, and also seen in the IDW comics.
It's literally impossible to even raise 1/10 of a hope of anything seeings how there are 3-4 things that have seemed to disappear after the announcement/discovery. :/
They seem to have put on hold all the toys that "borrowed" engineering. This hopefully is mostly new. Would be a shame if it was Masterpiece Seekers remolded to F22s.
Beast Wars Dinobot squad? With jetpacks! Interesting but not sure anyone really asked for these when Presser, Sharkticons, and the teased Dinobots are still up in the air. That and iGear needs to finish their Mini Warriors line.
