Mach 5 is teasing another figure from their mold that made Gauntlet and piston. It seems to be red and carrying a minigun.



Speculation? Ironhide? Autolauncher? Tote? Swerve?

UPDATE AGAIN: Looks like it's Ironhide, or maybe young Ironhide, or son of Ironhide...

Cool that they've found another use for this mold but I will not guess who for fear of my guess being wrong and becoming next weeks teaser.  

 

I'd guess Swerve but I wouldn't be all that interested in it if it's a Ironfist repaint. The mold just isn't right.

 

Better milk it any way they can... wasn't too impressed with the mold and think it's gonna be a tough sell.

 

Another update on their FB page - now full alt mode pic... still don't know who it's meant to be.

 

Autolauncher?

 

They're just milking the mold. So, now we have Gauntlet, Piston, a red one and a green one too.

 

Gotta recoup them design and mold costs, after all. XD

 

Still going with Swerve and still uninterested in this as him.

 

Well, here's the thing. We've got a scout class bot, albeit hefty, that has 3 planned remolds, and they couldn't get the price down more?

 

Oh HELL YES, this is going to get got to be Autolauncher (or maybe his Korean Autobot doppleganger…) regardless of what head they give him (I hope they do Autolauncher though)

 

I am quite digging this one. Ironfist is pretty cool, but Autolauncher just gets me in the right spot.

 

It was more or less announced that the mold would be between Scout and Deluxe, but I'm leaning toward Deluxe given how squat and chunky the base figure is (think ROTF Hailstorm or HFTD Mindset). $50 for a quasi-Deluxe ain't so bad for a 3P.
