I just want to know which "Not Predaking" is going to be the biggest/tallest?
I dont want my Predaking looking puny next to Hercules.

 

Supposedly Ares is going to be huge according to Griffith from the Rex thread, Warlord's only half an inch or so shorter than Rex.

 

Guess I'll be waiting for the TFC version then. I hope they dont take too long.

 

Biggest and tallest are likely to be different. Feral Rex should have the most mass/volume by far.

 

Have a feeling myself that will be the case... though, could probably have only half the mass and still be taller than Rex... that's a bulky bot.

 

Choosing this option is extremely tempting but could also be dangerous.

The bulk can easily be remedied by upgrades. I don't mind those much like Herc's. Quite happy with ROH. I'll be expecting it this time around as well either TFC or someone else.

 

i hope its not half as bulky but I cant imagine TFC will be as "big boned" as MMC - that'd be a whole lotta plastic

 

Not to go too off-topic, but I will say that MMC Feral Rex looks more beautiful every time they reveal new pics. I'm really liking their Rampage.

However, I must have missed the pic of Rex's legs and torso next to Maketoys Giant whenever it was first revealed, and just saw it now. It's confirming my fears that FR might be a bit short-looking next to Hercules and Uranos, which is pushing me much more towards Ares, unless TFC badly messes it up somehow.

 

Yea, I think TFC should look to release at least some rendered images of what they have in mind for some of the other bots. Releasing the torso first for this one is an obvious move given their timing and the bit of backlash on Blackbird, but a limb or two (or 4) would definitely help solidify their offering right about now with PO's for MMC's going up.

 

as much griping came from the uranos release, im rather glad they revealed the torso first and it gives me a glimmer of hope, that future releases from them will be better.

though im a bit miffed we havnt seen anything else aside from this.

that said considering the pace of most 3rd parties and the release schedules aside from FP as of late there isnt another company that releases as many bots per year as TFC even though they are from the same team

 

Warlord is UT's Predaking - as far as I know, we haven't been given a stated height for Ares, so we can't compare him to either of the other two gestalts. I think you may be misremembering what Griffith said, as he has stated that Nemean is half an inch shorter than Leo Dux. If Ares does end up being taller than Rex, it'll have to be due to Nemean losing less height in torso mode and the legbots and feet adding more height than Bovis and Fortis.

Oh? Okay, thanks for setting me straight. I guess we need to see the TFC limb-bots before we can see how they compare in terms of bulk.

 

did he say that? I thought he said he speculate, after seeing some "Stuff" that he *might* be taller than Rex?

 

As long as one of them is as tall or taller than Hercules Devastator, THAT's the one I want.

 

He originally thought Nemean was going to be significantly bigger than Leo Dux, but given the new information available Griffith said he may have exaggerated its size in his mind based on the little he saw of a development prototype.

 

I'd rather have the Predaking that scales best with Voyagers and deluxes.

That is why my heart belongs to Feral Rex.

However, I do look forward to seeing what TFC does with their version.

Even if they are just creating yet, one more thing to screw their fans over with.

it just depends on how thye do certain aspects of the transformations for the limbs that can make it taller or wider. particularly if they make feet that are thicker on the bottom than the other designs that have been shared.

 

Wonder if we will get our last two jets first or they show something else for Ares first.
