    I don't see it transformed.

Rob Liefeld *fixed* signed an exclusive contract with MMC. :p

The comment from someone else on TFC lion face smashing on the wall is funny though.

Clearly you don't know Rob Liefeld's work if you compare it to any of the Predakings.

I can't spell his name right as you can see.

But I've read a bit on his work and checked some of the sharp/edgy/wonky proportions. Sorry dude, it all checks.

    Rob Liefeld doesn't draw feet.

    The Robots have feet

Ergo they weren't drawn by Rob Liefeld. QED.

Also, if you want to talk proportion, TFC's has the smallest head to torso ratio, which is very much in Liefeld's style. So really, one can find Liefeld-esque elements everywhere.

That's the one Hardreturn gave me as a link.

    It's all there man.

Lion feet that small must have been designed by the same guy. lol

The wonky proportions giving them "personalities" is pretty much the same as his bulked up rendition Cable's fucked physique. Just check how people are giving the odd parts reasoning. Personality my ass. :lol

Though too early to say for sure... I've a feeling I'll be dropping MMC's in favor of TFC's. I don't really want a bot that big and expensive and I like MMC's sharp edges, but TFC's proportions are really hitting the mark for me. Currently, I don't own any MMC of TFC products... so I'm pretty unbiased between the 2.

You should definitely read up on TFC Toys' connectors, if you haven't already. Those things alone make me want to keep my distance from TFC Toys:(

In terms of design, I think both have their pros and weaknesses. On the TFC, I really love the Cannons and the combined form's head sculpt, but I am warming up and starting to like the MMC version as well in terms of head sculpt. The canons wont be a deal breaker, but TFC ones looks awesome. The crotch area and abbs of the TFC is nicer / more detailed. The extended lion contour on the MMC looks nicer.

I prefer the Lion and bot mode of the MMC over TFC. TFC version is very good too, and if I was getting that, I think I would keep the combined mode's head on the robot form itself, as I don't like that face. The head sculpt on MMC is fantastic, i love it!!! The lion form is nice on both, but when choosing one only, I prefer the sleep look and limbs (+ great flexibility) of the MMC, and the longer leo face. It just seems better in my eyes, but again, the TFC seems a good offering as well, with the nice tail and bulkier form.

When barely having money for any toys, choosing one company, I would choose MMC as first pick. However, if money and space were not a concern, and design / product alone (ie not ethics not customer service nor feedback and etc...), then I would buy both MMC and TFC, but not UT even if given for free.

MMC is offering feedback responses, and answers to questions. So, recommendations can at least be given, and they will be considered, and if it is valid, double, and costs are taken into account as well as time, then they may just do it, otherwise, it's a no with proper explanations given on why not, so that everyone knows. To me, that is important, as well as the care to get it right the first time, so people don't have to re-spend getting fixes that could have been avoided if proper care was given.

I still like MMC's the best, but I will be getting TFC as well, after the full set (along with the inevitable add-on set) is released. I will only get UT if it's on clearance or someone wants to get rid of it at a great price. Hopefully one day I will own all 3 so I can display them with my G1 Predaking with the full CD add on. Yeah I am hardcore like that. ;)

Poor MMC, after all of their hard work and also keeping us posted on everything almost every step of the way, there's still folks willing to drop them after one bot is shown from a company that's been having issues with their current combiner. :throw

Yes, I think the TFC version is off to a good start as well but damn folks, at least wait for some more information before jumping ship.

TFC is tempting, since I do love Hercules and Uranos, but I committed to MMC so I'm gonna stick with them for Predaking.

The big thing for me is going to be size though. I know some people will want Predaking to tower over all the other TFC combiners, so they'll probably make TFC Predaking a lot bigger and more expensive. Whereas, I think MMC's Predaking will be closer to Hercules and Uranos in height, thusly cheaper and a more consistant combiner size, which I'd prefer.

MMC all the way. TFC just never quite hits the mark right. In fact if MMC were to do their versions of already existing 3rd party combiners, I'd probably purchase replacements of Devastator, Superion and Menasor.

Bigger doesn't always equal better especially if the connectors and joints aren't up to the challenge of holding up the weight.

Right now, I like MMC's bot mode, TFC's beast mode and as for combined mode, I'm ever so slightly for TFC's. I think I'll stick to my MMC pre orders, but I haven't shut the door on TFC yet.

TFC is the best Razorclaw so far IMO. Certainly the best lion face - they're predators after all, their eyes should face FORWARD. Though I'm not a fan of the embossed mane - something too "Voltron" about it. As for the cannons, it's not the size that sticks with me but the shape - the sliding guns used by MMC look like they're 2 minutes post-coital (not limp, but getting there) and don't look very high caliber. If it were a handgun it wouldn't matter as much, but these are very much a part of the figure's stance.

But I don't like TFC's history & reputation. They charge a shit-ton for every piece, don't provide package sets, then release "optional upgrades" which are anything but for another $50-100 instead of releasing the best, the first time through.

That said, it is making me waver on my investment so far in MMC. I LOVE, LOVE their build & color quality on the Seekers molds, but the time between Rex's teasers is frustrating and honestly, I'm not loving the overall combiner shape as it nears release. It's lacking a certain "organic" combination - there's no "flow" between the feet, to legs, to torso. It's a rolled up rhino. I compare all gestalts to the standard set by Maketoys Giant, who looks like he was BORN that way.

I preordered on a TFSource stack, so I have the option to cancel out which is nice. We'll see.

MMC looks like it'll be the most impressive Predaking out of the three, but TFC's Razorclaw looks amazing in all three modes, while I feel MMC's suffers just a bit in robot mode. UT just looks very cheap and kitbashy, and rather pitiful next to the other two.

I'm still not sure if I'm getting either one, but I'm currently leaning towards MMC. I'm withholding further judgement until we see more of TFC's combiner, since I don't want it to turn into another Uranos.
