    I got lucky. For once.

My gray male connectors did grind the green female connectors. I remember posting a pic of it in the Herc thread.

My Herc is a bit floppy after installing Eco's steel ratchets. I think I applied too much lube to it. But it's better that than the original grinding to dust (and I don't really trust their replacement).

Anyway, I felt like doing a digi-comparison of my own. Assuming the sizes are somewhat accurate TFC's release is the size of MP Grimlock! And Hexatron.

I am still undecided. I have the first 2 MMC figures on early bird pre-order but the TFC Razorclaw looks way better than MMC's. I am leaning more towards TFC but I have to see more of what they are offering and a price tag.

As for TFC's connectors, I have no problems with them at all on Hercules and the Uranos bots. They're as sturdy as the first time I used them.

The UT figures look like something I would find a Big Lots

I am definitely getting UT's Predaking as it has more of a G1 feel and a leaner Predaking which I find more appealing than the stubby bulkiness of MMC's. As for Razor Claw I would rank them TFC, UT, MMC. I will probably get TFC and UT, just something about MMC's figures that I dont care for.

Sticking with MMC. TFC stuff just isn't my thing, and to be honest I can't affort their prices anyway.

...and, UT? who are they? :lol
(I know who they are, it was a joke)

Predaking is one of my favorite combiners and I'm getting all 3 for different reasons.

TFC - To go with all Hercules and Uranos

MMC - To go with FP's Bruticus, FP's Menasor and MT's Giant

UT - It looks very G1 to me and closely resembles Studio Ox's Predaking

Based on all the recent pics we have seen of Razorclaw, TFC wins the Razorclaw round in all 3 modes.

Needless to say... I can't wait to finally have all 3 of these BAD BOYS in my collection. :rock

I'll stick with MMC, thank you. It seems more interesting so far. I wouldn't touch UT's version with a 39.5' pole, however.

I like the TFC better but they are a little to late to the show for me............. I need to see the rest of the bots first.

Overall MMC's because of the better gestalt headsculpt and articulation. Also I like how the thighs aren't skinny. Robot mode proportions could be better though and I prefer the TFC's IDW inspired robot mode head.

I like how MMC keeps the cannons on the back in robot mode. I also prefer the bulkier cat mode to TFC's tiny body w/huge limbs. I don't mention UT in my comparison because I feel theirs isn't even in the same league with MMC and TFC.

Yeah, you really can't help but feel bad for 'em. They have their fans, but I don't think this project will work out for them. And, despite the QC issues, the figures aren't terrible or anything.

Maybe their lower cost will save them? Some may balk at both MMC and TFC's prices. We'll see how many they sell I guess.

If UT suddenly priced each of it's figures at $50-$60, I'd give it some serious thought.

If price was no issue though, MMC all the way.

For what TFC and mmc offer, I really don't think their prices are outrageous. I thought so at first when I bought knight morpher Cyclops for $170. But when I got him in hand and realized his size, complexity, and what he does.

TFC's prices ... if their take on Razorclaw really is as large as MP Grimlock we'll see a new height in their price range.

I wonder if they'll also offer early bird discounts.
