Well, the supposed "WST" Astrotrain, Sixshot and Dinobots are all really Legends size toys. Legends didn't exist back when they started making those, so they called them WST. They are basically Legends toys.

This is the only reason I can think of to buy this. If they truly have shrink ray technology, I'm gonna need a kup, hotrod, springer and arcee. And UM. Might as well thrown in some deceptions too. Like devy.

If you keep it in alt mode, you can just say this is Perceptor shrunken for others to use him as a microscope.

Good news. When I saw it this morning I wrote Dr. Wu and told him it was amazing looking and said I hope he was also making it in black for Magnificus/SG Perceptor. His quick reply was:

So we are getting a black version too!

He also states that he can't really do a full sized version. Said he has size limits. Maybe he means on the 3D printing?

Looks great! Though is it supposed to scale with WST? I would have preferred it scaling with Legends instead. Still, very neat and might pick it up.

This actually works for how Perceptor was portrayed in his first commercial where Optimus Prime used him as a Microscope to learn that the giant shapechanging robot who attacked them was a Decepticon (because, you know, that wasn't obvious!)

So it's a Legends toy. Why not just call it that? Why are people calling it WST when it's not?

That's so cool. I love Perceptor and have been wanting a well articulated G1 design toy of him. Now only if it was bigger.

Dr. Wu said he can't currently make larger parts that something like that would need.

Only reason I did was just saying that it would fit in with them, I know it's more legend scale :)

Is not excluded that could be after him, and he himself WST Magnificus or SG Perceptor.
