I don't know much about the throttlebots, but is there an old or newish picture of what they look like in combined mode? I've just never seen them.

 

There aren't any pics yet, heck we don't even know what the other three members look like yet.  

edit: Plus they never combined before so there's nothing to even reference it.

 

No combined mode pics yet. Speculation is that this is based on the Gobots Puzzler gestalt. The Throttlebots themselves didn't combine.

 

Ok i wasnt sure, like i said im just learning about these guys. They all look really nice though..

 

If you plan to own Trace, you might want to go ahead and get the other two. Great figures and were nicely designed.  

 

Wow... I really hope the final product has a gold face.

Nice. With the red and blues, he does look like a mini Alternators Optimus Prime or something though. XD

Wasn't that impressed with the first two, but this does look nice.

 

Same boat. These guys have awesome looking vehicles, but something about how haphazardly they stick car parts all over the robot just doesn't jive with me. This new guy though is on the maybe list.

 

with a release date of october i realized that at this rate these won't be completed until early 2015 unless they ramp up the releases. 

 

LOL, I was thinking the same thing yesterday when I saw the preorder. But that is okay, plenty of other goodies coming to keep us happy.

 

It was quite the opposite impression for me. Trace is a nice looking robot, but it doesn't scream Chase like Aurora and Grind Rod did for Searchlight and Roll bar. The look reminds me more of an updated spy changer than an updated Throttlebot.

 

He reminds me of alternators optimus

 

I thought Trace looks like G2 GoBot Optimus Prime.

 

I vaguely remember people being so sure he would be Freeway...
