    I totally forgot about this guy! Preordered out of optimism. Obscure vehicle transformers are an insta-buy for me. Hope it still shows up out of nowhere...

    Thanks to your comment I now have a mental image of hundreds of Bendways being parachuted into people's hands. :lol

    I figured it wasn't coming. I just kept the preorder to see how many years it would be on preorder status.

    Got my cancellation too :( 

    The designers seemd to have had hope all this time, and that was good enough for me. With their website, game, video, sound effects, etc., I thought they were a larger, more professional organization than your typical 3rd party. Figured they'd get around to making it eventually.

    The bus looked sooo cool. And there was a promise of a whole fleet of buses like that. Oh man. What a fun vision!

    The email said BBTS was hopeful it would be released in the future. It was inexpensive relative to the typical 3P... is it possible they cancelled pre-orders so they can reintroduce it later at a higher price?

    God I'd forgot about this guy. I ordered direct from the Robobuz site, so lets hope they get that pre-order money refunded asap.

    I unfortunately got a cancellation notice from BBTS as well. I'm really hoping this will eventually come out, even if they DO have to raise the price. It's such a great design and a neat concept, and I'd love to see more original third-party Transformers that aren't based off existing designs and characters.

    Well, it's not exactly simple to do that (and Shapeways is expensive, especially with UPS shipping), but if it were, then I'd already have one.

    Exactly! As much as I love nice remakes of figures that'll probably never see a proper official new toy (demolition crue anyone?), I love the idea of original characters even more. Steelcore holds a very dear place in my heart for that.

    Mine was cancelled as well. I honestly don't think I can consider my modern transformer collection complete without a bus that transforms into a robot swordsman. *sigh*

    I agree with the above posters as well. The 3P scene needs way more original releases.

    Raised a thread from the dead. Sorry y'all. Just found this guy, and he looks really cool. Did we ever find out why this never happened and maybe the possibility of another 3P picking it up? This thing just looks too cool to leave dead. Original characters are always welcome in my book.
