Its a no go for me at that price, they are a bulky deluxe, 7 releases same mold(minor changes for coneheads) + more to come, if these were $40 I'd bite on the rainmakers but with a non-preorder price of $60 bucks, k bye, because after their other shitty releases there is no way I'm preordering them until there is a fandom hands on review

With a potential of 10+ releases with the same mold they could of struck a gold mine at the right price.

I think $50 is a great price as its a bigger scale toy compared to FP (CA-10 T-Bone) $60 or Function X-03 $70. Igear MW-05 Cogz is $55 and less then half the size. Maybe I just value things different?

The $50 BBTS 'early bird' pre-order price about hits the sweet spot for me. I had a horrible feeling these would be $80 or more, but thankfully the rampant mold re-use has helped drop the price per to a more reasonable level. Given that I'm going for t-cracker. Please IT, don't make me regret it.

I have to agree so hard with this. If they could have priced these out at $35.00, you'd have WAY more people buying more than one. Right now at $50.00, I'm MAYBE thinking about Sunstorm.

I can't believe it took this long for someone to comment on that! I agree.

I also did not buy Function X or Cogz due to price, just like these Tetrajets. The value isn't there for me on them. I agree the FP Menasor figs are a bit pricey for their size but FP has a VERY proven track record with quality and engineering. IT has had terrible to middling items at best. That's where the "value" is off on these guys for some. I'd be all over getting a few if they were $30, or at least 1 (Skywarp FTW!) if they were $40 on the early-bird pre-orders. Plus size is not the only deciding factor for getting a figure. Aesthetics play a big part in my decisions for purchases, and these just miss the mark as I only really like the jet mode.

I'm using the Demo Crew as the new standard of Pricing. 2 Great designed Deluxe figures for $65bucks, with no flaws imo. These jets suffer from an open bottom, oversized head and a wing transformation that makes me very nervous. Not to mention these are barely larger than a deluxe.

I'm also taking into account the companies quality rep, Valkyrie was a complete piece of shit that literally feel apart in your hands, mine found its way to a junk bin somewhere.

IT needs to save face after that with me and being able to release so many repaints should have brought the cost down exponentially

and I haven't bought any of those because they are not worth the price point.

MechIdeas set the new standard plain and simple, and until other companies fall in line with a more consistent pricing everything becomes a pretty easy pass.

I hear ya but even the Demo crew have floppy issues but those I think are smaller and less engineering.

Mech is just one comapny the rest dont follow that suit with prices but they are priced great.

I agree the Arcee has big issues but I was lucky to get a good one, But that was released like 3 years ago and in 3 years lots of things can change and in this case that is what I expect with the Tetra dudes.

haven't had any "floppy" issues with the demo crew and while yes they are one company doesn't mean that you can hold others to that standard.

and while it has been 3 years that still doesn't ease the pain of junking a $70 figure because of quality control.

Once we get a fandom hands on review I may change my mind. But honestly I'd really want to handle one myself to feel comfortable.

With so many great releases this year spending money on these to find out they are the same crap as their other releases I just can't do it.

LOL OMG so I have been giving them feedback on their FB page and the moment I bring up Valkyrie they deleted my posts.

Well that tells me the type of people they are and this has become an instant pass no matter how good they are.

If your not willing to own up to you past mistakes then you don't deserve another chance.

update they also removed me from their FB page LOL so yeah screw them.

But they're pretty simplistic figures. Certainly not what I'm expecting at that price point, or any price point over $30 for that matter. They're cool for what they are: simple updated versions of already simple toys.

Plus, it's more like $70-80 for the pair than $65.

    Trolling =/= feedback

I hardly find trying to give company feedback trolling.

That would be like saying the people complaining about Simcity not working the 1st week of release are just trolling. The demo crew while simple are not that simple. These are a shell former essentially that is not fancy by any means and I actually paid $65 for my demo crew so thanks for telling me what I spent ;)
