humm, $100 add on, for an $80 toy. I like most of it, but I don't like what they did to the legs in bot mode. I will wait on this to see some reviews.

Didn't someone see a comment on Elljays review that Maketoys would eventually release their own Omega Supreme base figure akin to what is on the box art? Was that an idle comment, speculation, or a legit hint?

I believe people misunderstood that. The art on the box looks so different that YOTS OS, that people thought MT would be releasing their own. MT had to do that to make sure that they don't get dinged on the likeness to the HasTak YOTS OS figure.

A quick glance at the transaction records suggested that it is available in China retail since 12 Feb, it seems.

 

Even before that... My friend resides in HK, but his other friend got it from China and brought it over to him.
