If it was designed to fit Sideswipe as well, I'd be interested. As it is now, its way too big and bulky. Pass.

Hollow bits peeking over his shoulders just look really, really cheap on a masterpiece. Plus this thing is desperate for paint. Easy pass.

 

So is this really just upscaled from the Hybrid Convoy? I don't have that particular figure, but what is the size of Hybrid's rocket pack like against MP-12, has anyone tried?

 

Looks okay but agreed that this needs to transform or compact in some way to fit on to MP Sideswipe's back. It seems a bit lost in a normal shelf since who displays their figures with their backs to them? Unless this includes some sort of (very strong) stand to hold up MP-10 in a flying pose, not sure this is worth it. There are similar issues with FWI-01 with Bayscream's rocket boosters on his back not being seen in a normal display but at least he had his buzzsaw and crossblades attachment.

 

This was by far the biggest dropped ball on MP Sideswipe. Given the MP line's incorporation of obscure gimmicks I can't believe that they left out something this obvious.

 

Looks like a Gundam backpack, which means it doesn't suit Optimus at all. Easy pass.

*looks at MP Prime's energon axe that he used exactly one time, MP Megatron's energon mace that he used exactly one time, MP Soundwave's 'whatever that hand weapon add-on thing is' that he used exactly one time, MP Red Alert's 'crazy sparks' that appeared in one episode, MP Sideswipe's pile driver things that he used only a couple of times and never looked the same, MP Grimlock's tray, apron & crown that we saw only once or twice, MP Starscream's coronation gear that we saw exactly one time*

But this thing makes no sense and is a waste of time? Okee.

I agree totally. That would confirm Sideswipe's size issue also. But from looking at that pic I really doubt it would fit MP Sideswipe.

 

if this thing came well painted etc. i might get it if it were for the right price of....cheap. i think takara should have included one to be honest.

 

If I were to ever get into MP's, I would probably be down with getting this.

 

lol "confirm sideswipe's size issue"? uh guys....its a cartoon. this is like expecting a jacket that fits say a 5 foot 2" 7th grader to fit a 6 ft. 4" adult. not gonna happen without cartoon magic!! if it looked righ ton sideswipe it' be too small on prime and vice versa....you'd think a transformers board would understand cartoon magic.
