    This way of thinking simply does not make sense to me. If you like the "G1 charm" then get the G1 figure. You won't regret the purchase IMHO.

    Since when did this hobby make any sense? :D 

    Can't agree with you more! I will enjoy the "updated look", but you can't beat the original. Sure, it's a brick, but it is a really fun combiner!

    To each their own. I have the original and it is awesome in it's own right, but if you you need articulation, posability, and updated look, then you should avoid G1 and get the update.

    I couldn't decide between the two so I am getting both. Will decide later once they are both in hand and sell the one I like least.

    How the hell did I miss that there were two of these threads? I honestly think the thread titles were so similar I thought it was just one thread. Since, dwong1207 started his in December (and with a poll option) I'm closing this one down. I would merge the two, but that would just be confusing and messy.
