Holy crap, MMC is just taking 3P toy making to a whole 'notha level. My heart goes out a little to that other group but then again MMC announced this a long time ago. After Cyclops, Hexatron and the HoS Seekers, was there any doubt that these would be spectacular? Keep up with those reveals MMC. The only thing stopping me from owning this is that you haven't released it yet.
Sorry, too spikey and neo-movie for me. I'm enjoying the look of the other Predacons more. Maybe just the G1-fan in me.
I do agree with the uber spikeyness thing. I think seeing it in color will help. These guys seem to be my first choice still though.
looks great but bird head seems a bit small although maybe more realistic compared t a real bird. people complaining about spikes I don't see it. you got "spikes" at the robot knees which is the bird mode talons. you got similiar things at the hands which is cool because it serves as melee knuckle claws which is fitting for the figure other than that I don't see other spikes.
I can see how the UT version will appeal to G1 loyalists but for everyone else, how can you compare the two? The only thing I like better on the UT version is the bird head but all other points go to MMC. MMC is like the only 3P company that actually has curves on their figures (which I adore) vs a series of straight lines that create a curved piece.
