I know, as a testiment to the series, I am a fan of the Wreckers just by reading what you all think of them. (I am all in on any Wrecker made even though it breaks my "on screen characters only" rule)

I bought these guys and I too am waiting on Impactor and I have no clue who he is or what he is all about. lol

I have decided to pick up the trade and it excites me because I have no doubt that it will live up to my extremely high expectations.

 

Make sure you get the more recent hardback version, rather than the original paperback. The new version's got insane amounts of bonus content in it.

And dear god does that torture scene still disturb me.

 

Thanks for the advice and no wyou got me very excited. Seems like this comic pulls the reader in emotionally and is not just an action packed tale.

 

Everything everyone else has said about LSOTW and more. Make sure to read the prose story "bullets" in the HC, it adds a lot. Then you'll have to read the MTMTE series as well  

 

LOL I already have interest in MTMTE because people gush over it and love Chromedome because of it.

I think I will start with the HC LSOTW and see what happens. I really don;t want to start up with comics again seeing as I dropped them about a decade ago.

This! Also I got a friend hooked on the new TF comics by lending him my copy of LSOTW. His first words were "Holy Crap!, Overlord scares the shit out of me!" ...... One of my favorite TF stories to be sure,

 

Hope either MMC or MI gives up a decently sized (Leader class or bigger) and updated Classics Overlord after Hexatron is released. I know BTS unveiled some design sketches for their Nova Lord or whatever but it looks terrible.

Hey, if anyone else ever wants to make a Soundwave that becomes a dictaphone like the Guido Guidi design I'll buy one, but until that day Sonicron stays in my collection.
The biggest problem is they based the whole thing around making the chest big enough for cassettes, but if they hadn't done that people would have complained.
