I don't see it as "milking" to simply make the same recolors Hasbro did for the characters. Those recolr should be expected.

Frankly this mold is kind of klugee in transformation, and the only reason I adore my first edition IGear Spray is because... well... it's Seaspray. But overall I don't feel an overwhelming need for a G2 'sparkly' vers. As already mentioned better by others in this thread- the need for new molds be damned- they just need to make this guy in scale with NOT Brawn, Cosmos, et. al., and then we'd be talking another purchase.

Aaaaaaaaaaand this --^ "Milking it" would be what Hasbro does. So technically iGear still has a long way to go before they can give Hasbro a run for its money.

 

Yeah, I'm not interested until he's scale with Hench, Veer, Cogs, etc...

 

To be in SCALE with a Hench, he's probably have to be Ultra sized, he is a Hovercraft ship! You could probably park hench in his hold.

 

Right there with you. He's a great mold, but they need to make him and Rager in scale with the others they have and are releasing. Otherwise i would have been all over their "Pipes" Figure as well. That size does fit "Erector" quite nicely though.

Honestly that's why I'm holding onto my Takara Autobot Alliance version until I see something More G1 and on par. And the Igear Minibots fit decently enough in his loading bay area, and I tend to want to go for for a mix of both character size relation and realistic vehicle size. Also why I prefer the Ultra class Powerglide. Really wish that they would redo/ think Astrotrain, Thunderwing and the Seekers for that very purpose

Would you guys recommend getting this one?
I missed on the first release, but I'm worried about the chrome chipping on this one.
Plus it's price has doubled. Is the regular version hard to find?

I pre-ordered one, but hope they paint the windows. I prefer this face (black visor)when compared to the first release (all grey).
