Well they already have the teased HoS Hound, plus they can still do Bumblebee and the Insecticons. Even after that it's not like original HoS designs won't sell as long as the character is recognizable.

I know, but unless their release schedule increases we may not see another HOS all next year (not that I blame them for slow releases- it's just the reality of 3rd party).

I'd still love to see BB or Prowl. Their were a few more designs worth tackling. Plus ignoring the original Knight Morpher (Annihilator looks much better), just about everything they've done so far has been Cons.

I know HOS hound is in the pipeline (although the silhouette didn't do a lot for me). Hopefully he'll be 2013, and hopefully he'll satisfy me.

 

Have we gotten a size comparison on this guy yet?

Thank you MMC. You hit the effin ball out of the park on this one. This is my number one anticipated arrival of 2013 and i dont think ive ever preordered ANYTHING faster.

 

I know but if you look at the expected arrival date it potentially clashes with Fort max's release date and most of my spare cash is going into savings for fort max.

 

Man, I can't wait for this guy. Been eagerly anticipating him for over a year now.

True. But the same can be said about a lot of FP toys, like Defender (to a certain degree), SteelCore and insecticons (especially the vehicle versions) and TFCs Hercules bots
Hexatron looks amazing in robot mode, and has FIVE alt modes, none of which looks bad for what they are. That's an easy buy for me at least, but to each their own

have you played with G1 Sixshot? its really fun to transform him imo, and MMC's version is NOT going to be much different.

The general scheme is the same. For each mode compared to G1, the legs and arms, are still where they would be.

The main transformation scheme is going to be the same, with more "polish", defined as a few more panels flipping, more joints moving, etc.

That's my prediction.

 

I have Defender. He's ok. He's actually the only non MMC 3P figure I've picked up. I got him because I wanted Springer badly as a child and never managed to get one (I even wrote letters to Hasbro). He's kind of a blob too (and the original was as well- even worse actually).


The bigger question would be why am I ok with the same sort of thing in their upcoming Predicons? I have no good answer for that (other than possible nostalgia for Predicons I had as a child).

Of course we haven't seen final product on the Predicons yet- but there's a good chance I will buy the set.

 

Price point is damn fair considering its size and MMC's standard for intricate transformation and gives me hope that their Predaking won't be too expensive. I have zero attachment to this character, but I LOVE MMC, and for that reason alone I'm considering this, but will hold off for now. Looks pretty cool tho. Wolf mode is a little blocky, but the robot mode is awesome.

Nice. This will be my first MMC product (I like the look of their HoS stuff but can't swing the cash for a quirky aesthetic that doesn't fit anything else in my displays). Will love to pose this guy fighting ToyWorld's not-Throttlebots, All Hail Megatron style.
