Ok, I would buy a Mystery Machine repaint of this mold, cause that would be kinda neat. although he probably wouldn't have a place on my shelf.

Shattered Glass Soundwave would be interesting - but only if they remoulded the chest to open.

I don't mind the idea - I actually rather like Tote and in general approve very much of making toys of someone other than the usual suspects. He'd go nicely with some of the Universe 2.0 toys.

Is he available to order only via BBTS or will iGear be selling him direct too ?

Those who purchased Ironhide from iGear earlier will be blessed with an extra head to use on this repaint. Comic Ironhide to the rescue!

As someone who prefers to have repaints be NEW CHARACTERS, I see no reason why I would want TWO IRONHIDES, when I could have Ironhide and Tote.

This would've made more sense. I mean, I'm a completionist of sorts and there's almost no way I'd drop a c-note on this guy. I mean, is he even prominent in any of the fiction?

I dig the supposed homage, though honestly I'd rather pay that for a Not-Ratchet or Not-Ironhide without all the accessories. Though I don't own either, so maybe I'd like them.

    That is genius.

Scooby Doo teamed up with everyone from Batman and Robin to the Harlem Globetrotters. I don't think a Scooby Doo/Transformers crossover is so far fetched.

And considering Igear made a Love Bug out of their Bumblebee, I'm starting to think this could actually be possible. But it has to have a cool head. Not something goofy like Crossovers Han Solo.

    Agreed.

Actually held off buying the two specialists for a long time just in case iGear announced those repaints. Those I would've bought.

Tote...not so much (or better: not for so much).

Now if a 3P company releases a proper classic/mp update for micromasters like Tote, then I would buy. But repurposing the red van made for Ironhide into the red van now called Tote even though Tote looked completely different in robotmode...no.

Looks like an attempt to unload the last of the red vans, which might explain why its not a new color. The head was probably a design they had laying around. IGear always makes a ton of their molds just like their PP03s.

Ha - loving this idea. It makes as much sense as reissuing the red PP mold with a new head and calling it an micromasters homage!

Now a black version with bigger rear wheels into the A-Team van would make me very happy.....:)

At least that's something someone would have the slightest interest in. I have no idea why they would think anyone would want Ironhide with a new head and less stuff. iGear is baffling sometimes.
