Is it possible the color could change?

Honestly, I grew up with micromasters as my main transformers, mainly because I couldn't afford to get anything "deluxe" size. That blue hauler Micromaster was my version of Optimus Prime for years. I like seeing homages to Micromasters, they're a branch of the TF world that doesn't get enough respect. I'm sure there were plenty of kids who couldn't afford larger toys, and enjoyed micromasters instead.

It's a nice Micromaster homage, but I'd have been more interested in a black Weapon Specialist or a green Medical Specialist, as "negative universe" versions of the characters.

What if HasTak are preparing MP Ironhide/Ratchet so this is just iGear's way to get rid of these guys as many as possible?

 

I'll agree, I just don't get it... why would they not go with anything besides another red or white van? This just looks like a toned-down Ironhide with a new head. Black, blue, green, orange... anything!

A "Mystery Machine" repaint/remold would have been fun....

Love the mold, but have no interest in the character at all.
The only repaint I'd consider would be a mystery machine, or even just a random hippie van.

Black - Diaclone/SG Ironhide
Blue - Energon Towline
Green - Movie/SG Ratchet
White - SG Soundwave

this is as they say, "An easy Pass". I got the only two figures i need with that mold(ironhide and ratchet). if you want to get more bang for your buck, do Prowl! you can get a lot from an old Fairlady 280Z mold. Prowl, Blue(silver) streak, Smokescreen. you could go a bit obscure and do the Gobot Z-mon. I would buy ALL 4 of those!!! but i don't need another ironhide mold clone. Thank you for making Ironhide and Ratchet, we fans really appreciate it, but its time to release new figures that you've teased us with. Dinobots, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, Wreakers, Megatron...you see what i mean.
