I admit, I would be interested in PP-05BA (Bad Attitude). You could release one black variant, and provide heads that were Diaclone, SG and BA, maybe with an optional red stripe and spoiler.

 

Yup, was thinking the extra heads could be used to great effect! The optional spoiler is brilliant too.

If there was a way to nicely configure the figure into a non-entirely-stupid looking "Headless" mode, I'd pick up 2 PP-05BAs, one to be BA, and one to be Diaclone IH

You ever think maybe they chose Tote because PP05 has sold out most places and there have been requests for reissues of Ironhide, so they combined a reissue with a Tote head as an extra option for those who might want it?

 

That... almost seems logical. Does sorta suck though that they had to put the stripes back on him for all those who waited too long to get Ironhide the first time.

Had to drop my preorder and delay to next month because I jumped the gun on another Macross VF-171 Valk. But with 250+ left in BBTS stock, I doubt it's going anywhere.

 

This needs to happen. This genuinely needs to happen. With a plethora of gold chromed accessories!

I would argue that is exactly what they did when they made this figure, all in one package.

 

Is this a BBTS exclusive? It looks rather nice and I wasn't a fan of all those extra accessories packed with Ironhide/Weapons Specilaist.

I dropped my pre-order after seeing how many were still available. I may just wait it out for a sale price. Hell, BBTS has dropped to price of Photron to $99 after starting out at $125. You never know.

TBH, this is a pretty good deal. I have both of the original run van brothers, and messed around with the additional accessories for maybe a couple days. Now they sit in a box with other weapons I don't use. So, as long as this comes with an Ironhide head, I say jump on it.

 

Yeah, it's a good looking figure from where I'm sitting. I can't see why anyone would skip it.

 

I'm much more interested in a new character, so I'm glad they made him Tote. Hopefully Reprolabels make some Tote labels to help him look less like Ironhide.

 

I was looking around for this guy. The original one with all the weapons seems a tad expensive for around 160 and this ones too much at 99 as well. Is it really worth that?

 

If you're questioning it it probably isn't for you. Ironhide was my favorite as a kid and this looked like the best version, so I saved up and pulled the trigger. IMO it's worth it, but it depends on how badly you want an ironhide ultimately.
