I almost went ballistic when they first announced the price for War Hawk. It's like they thought they were TFC's second coming or something.

Nobody said it was absolute but thanks for trying the straw man thing. But (again a rare agreement with transbot) you can't ignore these numbers. If you were reading through each mega thread you might get the impression of maybe a 60/40 split in favor of MMC. These numbers show quite a different situation, possibly translating into UT not being able to cover costs for say, molds 4 and 5... Or making little to no profit. Is this poll at a 95% confidence level? Of course not. Is it a representative sample of target buyers? Probably, this is the place to get it. Is the sample size significant? The ideal sample size is about 400 so not really. Does it show a trend? Fuck yeah it does.

Did UT state anywhere that all their members are the same price? Also 6th member is optional so don't consider that part of the equation. It's like rage of Hercules set. Cool, but unnecessary.

I don't think when you discuss City Commander that you add the PE weapon bots as part of the price, right? Or the iGear CC upgrade set to the upgrade set? In the same way, 5 figure is completely stand alone and capable of forming Predaking.

^ I am asking you if UT stated that all their members are the same price.

If you say time will tell, then don't state that it's gonna be a difference of 200$ or more.

Considering 6th member as part of the comparison is just silly unless PK looks stupid without it.

And Hercules does not look stupid without Rage of Hercules.

5 member Feral Rex with Early Bird price adn Razorclaw at $100 eb price (just a guess)= $414 with CP. $485 with the 6th bot.
5 member Feral Rex team regular price = $506 (Razorclaw estimated at $120) and $597 witht he 6th member.

UT will come in at about $400 but I will assume it will be about $10 - $20 more.

Oh, I was hoping it would come across more as a tin man thing. I wasn't throwing the ever-popular straw man argument at you, I was simply trying (and failing, apparently) for sarcasm.

And yes, I can ignore these numbers.
I have been ignoring them for quite a while now. :)

I guess I'm more interested in reviews and opinions of the actual toys, not polls based on which prototype looks better to us aesthetically. That might make one ask why am I even in this thread? Good question. I'll just quietly step out of the sandbox.

I'm leaning towards Feral Rex but I'm worried about possible joint issues and perhaps limited articulation. It'll come down to the not-Razorclaws for each company to determine which will be studier.

I'm keeping an open mind for War Lord since we've seen 3 of 5 prototypes and the price is decent (at least for a 3rd party figure).
