I don't think so. Many fans will like one or the other for different reasons. Some may even buy both. Its Herc and Giant all over again which is cool to me. More options= better for the fans.

Or at the worst, colored according to the "Call of the Primatives" animation colors.

 

They may be herc scale, but I don't know how well they're going to fit in with Herc's blocky aesthetic and plain detail. MMC has shown with cyclops and the screecher mold that they go above and beyond with molding and paint.
