Actually, the more exposure this guy gets the easier it's becoming for me to hold off for a voyager scale. Not because there's anything wrong with him - on the contrary, he's so aesthetically satisfying, it's a joy just to look at him.

OPTIBOTIMUS Great review. Your genuine excitement over this figurehas left me with one thing to say....... Why is it not in my hands yet?

I will always be unpleased with the legs but at this point it is a minor gripe. The dude is definitely an MP figure and a great representation of Shockwave. Perfect height, perfect colour (for me) GREAT quality and not a single QC issue. Not bad for a companies first time out.

I am glad that I supported this endeavor blindly and that FT showed us that it is ok to trust in them.

All around awesomeness....now start shipping these things out!!!

It is very slick how the backpack fits in properly. Glad you caught that during editing.

I'm not sure why people don't like the legs. They look great to me.

 

I totally missed that the first time around, it was edited in with such ninja skills.

 

The backpack is particularly cool because it forms a hexagonal shape (or whatever 6 sides is) in gun mode and then back to rectangular in botmode. I loved that.
@Opti, I'd it makes you feel better, I did the EXACT same thing with the backpack when I got this. I was like, wtf, yo!?

Watching that video again I'm almost wishing there were two light options for the eye.....the one it currently has and another that was on/off repeatedly as if he was talking......that would have been epic. 'Laserbeak returns Megatron.......'

Also saw the review with my 6yo nephew*, the idea of an MPish Shockwave blew his mind and he was entranced during your whole review. Though he laughed at your use of the words "butt" and "stupid", you fucking potty mouth, don't you know fucking children watch your shitty show, think of the children you asshole  




*I don't let him transform masterpieces, but I trust him enough to hold and pose them, he actually has a better eye for poses then I do, managed to find some cool ones for Code after I had given up

Well I've just ordered a TFC Phantom of Screamer set A just for the mini Shockwave in it.....looks to be a pretty close match colour wise. Shockwave needs a mini me version of himself to hold afterall
