$150 huh? I might have to factor in some $ for it... gonna be tight tho, with MP Soundwave, and the cassettes all a few months apart...

Any idea if/when an MP 10 scaled Hegemon is in the works? I think that would sell like crazy. The design is beautiful, the quality is at or above Hasbro, and at $170 or $180, it would sell out easily.

 

I don't know. I personally wouldn't fork over $170-180 for a simple upsized Hegemon. I'd want a bit more engeneering for that much cash. And a better altmode too.

 

I can't believe all of the awesome plastic goodness that is coming out! So nice being a G1 fan lately.

It definitely looks nice, but I'm not sure if I'll buy it. I guess I'll just wait and see how it turns out before I decide either way. I don't have a huge love for Shockwave, although I do like him, but I have plenty of other figures to prioritise before this one (unless it turns out to be absolutely perfect, or close to it).

 

When does this bad boy go up for pre-order. This thing is sick!

 

I got his MP Prime trailer way way back when, and the plastic quality was very good.

I think a couple places already have their preorders listed. Kapow and Automaton I believe.

 

Hmm I'm thinking only the outside of the legs form the handles, for transformation the legs spin 180 degrees and telescope. The outer part separates and rotates down to form the handle the "backpack" unfolds and mounts on the front to form the barrel once you have arms folded in the original style.

Yeah, I think the bulk of the legs become the rear of the gun, while the outer portion of the legs form the handle.

 

mp-05 is a pretty awesome looking bot to me.

he's too big, not in scale blah blah blah... its effin megatron. he CAN be huge and thats ok with me.  

 

I agree. Especially with the justitoys add-on for altmode, and next to MP-04 in botmode.

 

I am sure of it if the photos are right.



At least it will give us a narrow handle, I just hope it pegs in well or it's going to be very floppy.

He can be huge and spindly looking, I actually partially collapse the legs on mine to make him about an inch shorter so he doesn't look so lanky.

ill be all over a new megatron mp at mp-10 height for sure, but untill then mp-05 will do fine.

 

I like this. That's an ingenious way to transform the legs.

 

He looks wonderful. 

 

Shame he's so blocky. I remember the original g1 version having much more interesting shapes to his limbs so I actually consider this a huge step backwards.
