I decided to do the hand swap on my Quakewave.



Even though I lose the electronics on his gun hand, I prefer the more solid colors on him.

With the swap, I gave Quakewave something worthy to hold in my display.



Because logic dictates it...



Can you tell I like my Quakewave? Just need to get some 'Con symbols to complete his look.

 

why did i sell my quakewave the money didn't even go on what i intended it for...got spent on bills DOH!

Is there absolutely no way to do the hand/gun/hose swap and have the electronics work? I thought I read somewhere (here?), that someone was able to do the swaps and do a little bit of drilling or something (sorry for being so vague), and have everything all working, electronics and all.

There's a few people here on the forums that do custom stuff; like the good Dr. He may be able to do that for you if you were interested. Makes me kinda interested! Lol

 

Ive been waiting to see if any of those Version2 bases come up again. I really would go for one of these. I liked how it used the same type base as the seekers and allowed for an energy cube. Plus the "stance" or position of the gun was better with v2.

But the price increased alot! A few weeks ago he sold them for half the price.

I have multiple variations of the arm in question, one of which has been modified as you describe. I had a pro do it and it was a great decision as it is perfect now. I wouldn't want to give out the info regarding who did mine without asking him, but I can confirm that it can be done.

Just got my purple Quakewave (thx to Wikkid btw for the sale). Had the gray one as well....can't decide which one looks better.
