That's because that was most likely when he printed out the shipping label. The tracking number would be active from that point on.

That's just how shipping works. Nothing to be upset or complain about. It's better he gets the shipping labels all prepared ahead of time instead of trying to do them all the day he ships them.

I just wonder what kind of evil science he will use it for...

FWIW: I like the pic, I look forward to getting mine in hand.

Thanks, I just thought the thread would be a bit more fun with more pictures but unfortunately there is no good camera in my house. So I do the best I can with the phone. Didn't even notice the floss till after I posted the pic but it adds some unintentional comedy, which is always the best kind.

Well, consider it a subtle reminder to all of us. Your dentist should be proud.

Curious, has anyone else had a bad battery cover on their Quakewave's arm? Mine wouldn't even budge, turns out the screw hole had been split like it was screwed too tight to begin with so it was stuck in the arm.

So unfortunately the arms battery cover is kind of shot with chewed up plastic, but oh well.

try something like this. Put a small drop of hot glue, or Wood glue or something like that into the screw hole. Once it dries screw the screw (sounds weird saying that LOL) back in, it should make its own threads.

As I've openly stated here several times, due to the massive number, these were all packed last Saturday, then the labels had to be created as quickly as I could manage them, then the boxes labeled and loaded into the trailer (Wednesday night), then I had to get time off the day job to take the trailer to FedEx and the USPS and offload all the packages.

In order to keep things even vaguely efficient and make sure the right numbers are attached, the orders need to be updated with the tracking numbers and marked shipped as they are created.

Any other way of doing it would have required several days more in the end.

It said the package has been departed today. So I should receive it by Wednesday.

Same idea as shipping through Paypal. If you pay me and I print the shipping label, Paypal marks it shipped regardless if I have dropped it off or not. I really don't see the issue here. Maybe if there was no communication at all but Sidecutter has been letting everyone know what's going on pretty much daily. Customer service should be worth a couple days wait but I guess everyone is too impatient nowadays.

I feel sorry for Sidecutter. Once those packages are all dropped off he might go check himself into a mental institution.

Hopefully he made enough profit off 300 Quakewaves for it to be worth all the time and bitching he's had to put up with.

+1...i ordered from him but i felt no need to bitch about anything or his methods in handling the matter..he pretty much gave us a blow by blow on everything...and when asked if he'd get more in to ship he did so..the man went above and beyond to accommodate us(THE FANS)..give the man some room so he can breathe and collect himself..

Rule of three states that with a $150 figure; $50 goes to costs, $50 to 3P group profit and $50 to the store.

Sidecutter grossed $15,000 on this run of Quakewave. I think any of us would put up with one or two weeks worth of bitching for $15,000.

I've been in one of those for years. They tell me this board and the business are all in my head, but I know the doctors are lying and using all my profits to buy themselves fancy dinners and hookers.

Interesting theory...your numbers are off, but it's good to know what folks outside the situation perceive, at least. I will say that depending on the product/third party company being discussed, your concept of a three-way split here can be anywhere from very close to reality to somewhere on the far side of the universe.
