Got my shipping notice from CP. Considering the demand, for one or two guys to pack and ship a few hundred items (Quakewave and the Not-Stunticon) I gotta admit that I am VERY impressed! great job! Looking forward to my next business transaction with Captive Prey!

Got mine in today from Aces, and it is great. It looks perfect on the MP shelf. Now I just have to decide if I want to swap the hands or not. Worried about messing up the LED on the barrel hand.

I received my shipping notice yesterday from CP. I've waited for nearly two months to finally get one.

No official announcement has been made on their next figure. There's no time frame either. There's a rumor that it might be Blaster, but that is just speculation. After what happened to them when they made their Soundwave announcement, I wouldn't expect to get anything official from them until their next figure is basically finished (like they did with Quakewave).

I just want to again thank Sidecutter and company for the hard work they've done.

Breathe a sigh of relief, kick back, and have a cold one.

You guys deserve it, and sorry for the whining.

I just took the batteries out and packed Quaky back into his box. I gotta say, getting that battery out of the head scared the SHIT outta me. I REALLY wish it wasn't designed for a CR1020. That is my only gripe about this otherwise awesome toy.

regardless of what their next release is, FT has made so many fans with this release. what a way to kick off your first full figure release, a figure that is 100% in every which way, a masterpiece. that is just an insane expectation and quality goal to set for yourself and company, and an even more amazing feat that they were able to not only meet MP quality standards, but in my opinion, exceed them. not only that but at a exceptional price. Quakewave, to me, is the best example of how a 3P product should be promoted, priced and produced. all those key points hitting together ON TOP OF it being such a great product just shoots FT to the top of my unofficial TF toy list. hands down.

I know I can't be the only one feeling this way about QW and FT. They have momentum now and I hope their next release is even an even bigger success for them. They have rightfully earned a solid following now that will be eagerly awaiting what they have in store for us next.

I will definitely buy Blaster. I'll also buy Scourge and Cyclonus... And, if they happen to release a MP Tank Megatron in this deco, he'll be the centerpiece of my collection....

Once that shipping notice comes and I know the product is enroute, I will gladly post with glee that the transaction had commenced.

Don't get me wrong...I commend the fact that CP offers another option to collectors. Options are important to avoid monopolization, gauging etc.

However, I don't think myself or anyone else is out of line by expressing concern over the order situation, when Cutter himself has stated that the orders are not being shipped chronologically and that he is understaffed. I've been burned by other companies, but took this plunge because so many others were confident with him.

As a business owner I know exactly what CP faces. I'm not concerned about WHEN they are coming...my concern is with IF to be quite honest. There have been a number of stores and dealers over the last 20 years that "were the best"...."smaller and more collector friendly" ..that ran into cash crunch issues and difficulties in processing orders.

This is my real concern. It's not patience..it's about liability.

I'll be back to post once my conformation arrives as I *WANT* to be on the CP bandwagon too!

I'm sure you'll receive yours shortly. I received mine but there is no location on the USPS Tracker, so honestly I'm not certain any of these are even enroute at this point. It seems that USPS is only aware that I have a shipment that has been set up on line. It doesnt appear to have been collected or routed as of yet.

And that's par for the course for just about everything on the internet. Paying and printing the shipping label in the late afternoon means the pickup won't happen until the next day and won't be scanned/accepted by the post office in that afternoon/evening.

I'm really hoping the USPS can hit a 2-day delivery for Priority Mail from KY to MA. I want this to arrive on Friday, as it's going to my work (which is a M-F office).

Yep -I was really hoping to have it Thursday BEFORE Good Friday. Oh well. Do we know if CP is providing the batteries or not? Originally that was the plan (AND ADVERTISED), but then Sidecutter posted the something about the vendor being out. I expect the batteries, but I'm curious if they will come with QW or if they'll have to ship after the fact due to the batteries out of stock.

That's the alternative. I'm not crying :cry  . I have faith in Sidecutter, and as such I hold him up to the standards of all vendors. His deliver is in time with expectations. Normally, we wouldn't know when a vendor receives their shipments anyways, so if I get QW this week or next its NOT a strike against Captured Prey.

I do expect a vendor to honor their commitments. The batteries were advertised on his website and I would expect they will either come with QW (hoping), or after the fact if his vendor ran out. It was a great business strategy to gain business that his competitors ended up having to follow (which shows how great an idea it was). I give props to Sidecutter and I suspect I will happily do business again with him.

In fairness, if TFSource or BBTS indicated that they were providing something and later didn't, I think many customers would be put off by that. Captured Prey is the same as all vendors. Again, I have full faith in Sidecutter and Captured Prey, and am very happy with his presence here on the boards, his communication (tho I think that's actually negatively impacting some of his customers?!), and I very much appreciate his add ons that he is providing -all a very big reason why I decided to do business with him rather than the alternatives (who are also hear on the boards -especially when at least one would have been cheaper with free shipping available).

I patiently, but eagerly, await Quake Wave :mail
