Couldn't fit Ramjet on lol but the Insecticons are awesome....well worth hunting down.

 

I did! It doesn't really show up too well because of the flash & it's too dark outside to get better pics.

I wish he didn't have that dark purple patch right above the symbol.

 

mine's out for delivery today.   im thinking about using the con symbol that came with mp tru rodimus. i think that will look swell.

Aaaandddd... I just got in on the 2nd wave preorders at Acestoystore. Look forward to getting him at the end of March/early April.

 

Added a clear con symbol to mine. I didnt want too big a symbol on mine and i think it looks pretty good since ahockwave is purple enough  

 

I disagree. a G2 Megatron, even one based on the current size and proportions with added articulation, would be right up FT's alley! I'd gladly have a G2 Megs in my MP display, and it's one design that is incredibly unlikely to ever be released by TakaraTomy.

Quakewave arrived today when I got home from work early and cracked him open just now....

Holy crap, he's absolutely amazing!

I'm floored by the quality and heft of this guy. The diecast and weight distribution are exquisitely done, and the purple is very nice in-hand. FansToys has really hit this one out of the park; walk-off grand slam home run (to borrow a quote from another, more famous, reviewer XD)! Absolutely love Quakewave and even the wife was impressed by his stunning quality.

I cannot wait for FT to release their not-Blaster along with the extra Quakewave parts! FT has definitely found a fan, believer, and repeat buyer in me!

(Sorry for the crappy pix but they were quick and dirty snapshots.) I'm liking not-Shockwave even more than MP-13 Soundwave, surprising to say! Thanks so much to Sidecutter and Captured Prey for the quick turnaround time and going above and beyond with the free batteries to boot!





What's sad is that everything to the right of MP-11 Starscream in my Cons display (aside from G1 Buzzsaw and Ravage with Hegemon) are all third party figures. Hopefully HasTak rectifies this with the reinvigorated MP line, and fast.

 

The problem with anything G2 is that it has an incredibly tiny fan base. It was essentially a comic (where something like tank Megatron) showed up and the G1 cartoon re-aired.

It has very little, if any, significance to most TF fans from what I've gathered, and very likely will sell Just as well as the original G2 toy line: abysmally.

I'm sorry I really am, but highly doubtful any third party would invest so much money on the weakest incarnation of TFs to date

 

While installin the battery for the EYE...i noticed how easy it would be to remove the LED and replace it with a FLICKERING LED, not a blinking led.
its pretty simple and u get the effect from the toon.
they are plentyful on ebay ..jst be sure to get the yellow 3mm

just opened him up, beautiful! This is what a Masterpiece should look/feel like.   Sorry HasTak, but I don't need a Shockwave anymore.

 

Got my Quakewave from Sidecutter/CP today too. This figure in my opinion trumps construction quality on ALL recent MP releases. It feels and moves SO much more solidly..... That is not me saying I don't like my other MP figures. I love them. But there is a HUGE difference in the feel. Anyone who owns this figure I'm sure would say the same.

Kudos to Fanstoys for creating such a great figure!

After all the great things I keep seeing and reading about this figure (trying to patiently wait on its arrival), hopefully we'll get a Blaster from this company. I know alot of people agree with LL on this one: "I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MY RADIO!".

 

You weren't alive for G2, I gather? Also, iGear's G2 Ramjet disagrees.
