I think that he looks very promising its just the more I see MMC the more impressed I am with MMC.

 

The testshot looks pretty neat.
But the price of it scares me off big time. A simple figure like this would cost 50 or less if it were Fansproject's.

 

For me, it's utterly pointless to base a purchase decision on one of the limb-bots, especially in robot mode. It's all going to hinge on Razorclaw, and if he does indeed come with 50% of the gestalt-mode as add-on bits (waist, hips, etc) for extreme parts-forming.

(plus---alt modes! While the Ferocicons may have a Bullalo, they at least aren't "hinged cubes" like the custom this was based on had)

 

Ankle tilts? Nope

 

Don't get all judgmental now   Clearly there are good reasons why this guy doesn't have them while there aren't any good reasons for FP not to put them on Chromedome...

 

 

I'm new here, but can someone please inform me what it is meant by a "test shot" ? These aren't the actual colors are they?

 

Test shots - pictures of the protoype figures... they are using the base colors of the plastic.

 

 
Looks pretty unarticulated for the price. I'm most concerned that MMC will take their price queue from UT, and make the ferocicons like $140 each.

 

Thanks Man. Lol! I almost lost it thinking that those were the colors.

On another note, lack of any articulation (no ankle tilts) does hurt the UT's Not-Predaking when comparing it to MMC's Not-Predaking.

UT could hace engineered it in. I know the bell bottom pants kinda limit ankle movement but still possible. Not a big deal to me though. overall though this figure looks pretty simplistic which IS a big deal to me.

 

yeah I am hoping that MMC doesn't break TFC $100 a figure price cause that is already a stretch for me. Honestly if MMC can keep it at $100 or even a lil less (wishful thinking I know) I would try to buy 2 sets.

 

So do we get to see test shots of the bird mode? It's promising so far, but the price drives me away.

 

Oh ffs, gonna be expensive year again. Third party just shat all over Hasbro n Takara. These products are unbelievable. Unbelievably good that is.

 

i think tfc will come in under $100 and blow these dudes outta the water.
