It's a nice enough sword but I think I'm quite happy with the options for the displayed toys already. I'd guess it would suit something other than the suggested items though.

However I suppose they might suit things like Prime Ultra Magnus, Prime Optimus or even Animated prime.

Anyone got any suggestions - I was thinking Prime Kup or the Not-Aerialbots perhaps ? and I always suggest this but Botcon Banzai-Tron too perhaps might suit those swords.

I preordered the Captured Prey sword. This one I think is Gold and purple. The black and purple one look better for decepticons.

I really want to like these swords... but the one piece comes up far to much on the black, essentially making this thing only for stabbing. Sort of like having a nerf-guard on a broad sword.

So as I understand it now, there are seven different color versions of this mold.

Original run:
1. DW-TF05 Prime Sword (silver blade and hilt, blue crystal)
2. DW-TF05 Prime Sword (silver blade, black hilt, purple crystal)

Second run:
3. DW-TF05 Prime Sword (gold blade and hilt red crystal)
4. DW-TF05 Prime Sword (black and hilt, yellow crystal)

Third run:
5. DW-TF05D Dark Energon Sword (purple blade, black hilt, purple crystal)
6. DW-TF05U Ultimate Sword (silver blade, blue hilt, clear crystal)
7. DW-TF05X Broken Blade (purple blade, gold hilt, yellow crystal) Captured Prey Exclusive

Any others?

I got the black and purple one from Ace, it looks perfect with Hegemon. Even better with this Gothitropolis figure I have.
