Gears is great, Outback is alright, but Beachcomber... is disappointing.

Ahh thanks for clarifying that, I didn't hang out in that thread so this was the first I'd heard of it. Heck Hercules isn't the appropriate shade of Green either and I never saw a big complaint about that in the Mega-thread for $600 toy, Didn't realize there was one for a $30 figure.

when was that? Apparently I made a bigger impression than you did.

Love the cartoonish proportions of Hench and UFO. I'd be all over Bee and Cliff if they release them in the same scale and style. All other 3rd party Bumblebees are more real life proportioned.

It's even worse if that had nothing to do with it. That means you just go at people with a snarky attitude for no good reason.

I agree with many of the earlier posters Not-beachcomber looks like he might stand better if he had some sort of heel spur. It looks like those side skirt flanges might have served for that purpose with a slight redesign.

But He might stand all right anyway Legends Prowl or G2 Tank Megatron has no heels either and they can still stand up despite the lack. where as on a toy like Prime Kup - it is actually a larger disadvantage. it seems more of a problem once a toy gets bigger. perhaps Not-Beachcomber is small enough to get buy without them.

Not-Outback and Not-Gears look great. Not-Beachcomber is disappointing. The basic transformation looks accurate, but iGear took the dune buggy shape and gave it funny car proportions by shrinking the two front wheels. What's the point of it being a dune buggy, then? Bad move, and it gives the 'bot mode a less faithful shape/silhouette, especially with those bulky shoulders.

I loved the G1 toy and character, so I'll probably pick this up, but I'm not sure why iGear keeps switching back and forth from G1-accurate products to this weird, interpretive-dance type of Transformer. Silly iGear.

That is a legitimate complaint. However, Transformers dune-buggies (and other vehicles) are often designed this way, with the rear wheels larger than the front ones... G1 Sandstorm, Energon Cliffjumper/Beachcomber, Energon Strongarm, Cybertron Hardtop, among others. Apparently some real-world buggy designs use that same approach, though I agree... it looks wrong to me too.

I don't see why this iGear Duneraker couldn't just use the larger wheels on both axles.
