I dunno, he's on my shelf right now with my other Classics, looks just as Classicsy as Warpath.

And his size actually makes him an updated version. by upgrading him closer to the size of the other characters, he fits in as a member of similar-sized characters, as opposed to trying to recreate G1, like MP. Weird as it is, I'd say he fits in well with both lines.

i was thinking about that cliffjumper and bumblebee igear had shown off a while back. what size were those? i remember they were bigger than the legends, but maybe they were right around hench height? i want to see those done. they were not supposed to be part of the miniwarrior line, but with these new bots being larger... idunno...

No one really knows since we never saw them next to any other figures for size comparison. Doubt we'll see PP04 BB/CJ anytime soon. Now that I remember, where the heck is their not-Impactor?

I swear I heard something about the PP04 BB / Cj being cancelled? With the planned repaints being Runabout / Runamuck, I reckon the TFCC made them rethink it.

Presser is another matter, I think we need to start a "where the fuck is Presser?" campaign to make Igear take note.

I think Cogz will definitely be beefier than Hench, but if you stop to look at how their legs transform out of their alt modes, Cogz may not be much taller. Half of the vehicle length of Cogz becomes his legs. Hench's body is his FULL vehicle length, PLUS his legs... so they'll probably balance out.

They were deluxe-sized, just a bit taller than the Classics version of Cliffjumper/Bumblebee. For that reason, I would expect they were intended to scale with the PP line. They were cancelled, but then iGear showed a proto image at a con (I forget where) after that, so... well, last I heard, nobody knows for sure.

I liked them... specifically because Cliffjumper DIDN'T look like a penny racer. :)

Love my Brawn, and I'm glad they're sized with the classics minibots. I like them all, and don't mind the different body type for Beachcomber. Settling in for the long wait...

i just read the marvel uk (i think) first appearance of outback. his igear toy looks great, especially the head. colors arent too consistent all around between toy and comic, but i think what igear chose looks great.

turns out he's an awesome character as well. SPOLIER ALERT! (if you can have spoilers in a 30 year old comic) he saves optimus prime's life with just enough logic, skepticism, and balls. my kinda bot.

Not sure about the Beachcomber and Outback version, but Gears I'm definitely getting.

Beachcomber doesn't look that great to me (maybe colors will be better) and Outback...well, I never really cared that much about the character, interesting as he may be.

Gears looks fantastic!! I'm betting preorders will be going up soon with these colour protos. Perfect size too IMO.

EDIT - Does Cogz have the same transformation in the legs as Rager? He also looks to have the same upper thighs and balljoints as Hench. Now I don't wanna put 2 and 2 together and make 5 but......could an upsized Rager be on the cards? :D

Cogz is perfect. Gears was my first Transformer, so I was hoping for awesome and this little guy is bloody gorgeous looking.

    I actually like Beachcomber too.
