Too early to say, but we all know IGear read this site...I don't think we'll see an upscale Spray though. I could be wrong.

 

I can't wait for gears and Beachcomber, man seeing those images this morning brought back some serious nostalgia.

I honestly never thought I'd get the chance to own a nice BeaCo with elbow joints. It's like a dream come true. I'm even happy with the electric blue (I like electric blue as a color in general). And, hey, if they offer an exclusive darker repaint down the road, then I'll have (more) incentive to buy another.

I cannot wait for the preorders to come up. In the meantime I'll have to assemble a menagerie of in-scale cuddly forest animals for him or something else equally silly and unproductive to express my joy.

 

While I wish their alt modes were a bit less slavish to the super-deformed G1 designs (i.e. a bit more realistic, to fit in with other deluxe carbots) it is getting reeeally hard to resist these things. I've passed on all the iGear minibots up till now, but man, when all is said and done they are going to look really good together. I wouldn't put them with Classics (again, too cartoony, too slavish) but I'm starting to think they would look pretty great standing next to the MP's. Well, except Cosmos... his design is different enough from G1 that he would actually go better with Classics.

 

Gears will be pre-ordered ASAP, ditto for Swerve.

I don't dislike Beachcomber's shade of blue but I think I'll wait and see if a variant with the proper G1 coloring is made.

happy! i hope everyone likes their swerve, you wont get a better one than that. that gears mold looks awesome.

im a little worried about the color being off on so many of these now. with the release of their properly colored rager im weary of having to buy multiples of many of these in order to get the color i really want.

 

Igear did a very good job posing Duneraker for these color pics so that you can't really see how hollow the legs are.

 

Yep, Gears and Beachcomber will be mine, don't really fit into my collection "scale" but I don't really care.

 

These are looking astounding! Love the color on Beachcomber. And they have plans on doing the Throttlebots, sounds good!

 

I hope they change the wheels and arm joints on Gears. Then I will buy.

Nope. I made a "joke" post awhile ago about how iGear always uses too light colors, and I hoped Gears wouldn't be light blue and pink. Now that I've seen what they did with Rager, I'll just wait until a G1 Duneraker gets made or I won't buy one at all.

Cogz is so bought though!


Edit: Actually, I'll probably still buy Duneraker. I'm so weak! I'll just keep the package this time in case I need to resell him. So. Weak.  

 

I am weak as well, because the more I look at Duneraker the more I think I'm going to just go ahead and buy him. I mean, the blue is too light to match G1 BC, but it really is a nice shade of blue...

 

Swerve and Outback come in a pack together like Cosmos and Brawn did, right? Because even though I really only want Swerve (thank you very much MTMTE, no sarcasm at all), Outback could go nicely with Kup. All I'd have to do is pop a few balljoints and um... half his face off.
