I've been eyeing this figure badly and honestly I only want the 6 figures and the gun but don't need the rage set that comes with it, plus I can't pass up that $400 pricetag its too good of an offer. So I am very curious if someone would want to go in on a set I would sell the rage parts for $75 shipped that's the gun, head, shoulders, and forearms. I just can't afford dropping $400 because of christmas shopping but I am very curious if anyone would be down to do this.

 

Yup, that seems to be the case when I have free time on my hands. I'm sure glad I did it though. When it arrived I did not open the shipping container. I just wrapped it up and allowed my wife to give it to me for Christmas. She is so awesome allowing me to do my own robot Christmas shopping along with having the approval to do so. Just a shout out to the Wifey "Thanks Honey".

 

Just put this set together and I love it! This thing look so imposing on my desk and I might just order another one just for $hits and giggles. Anywho, once you see this in person in its combined form, you will love it as well. Now it's time to open my Genesis.

 

I ordered a set of Perseus a few months back, haven't combined him yet. I was a bit disappointed on the "white" though. It's not as white as I had thought it was. I totally would get another if this thing came down in price by another $ 50.00 bucks or so. Then I'd paint one and keep the other in the box behind it for display.

Does Perseus have any hip/knee looseness issues? I was thinking of picking up those steel hip upgrades I've been reading about on this forum.

 

He certainly does. I bought the steel hips about 3 months ago but haven't got around to installing them yet as I need a new dremel.

 

Thanks for the headsup, Trent. I'll order those steel hips today just in case I need them when I put this guy together. Man though.... not really looking forward to painting. =/ Going to take a long time. Hands are not as steady as they use to be!

 

Resurrecting this thread to say that I have one of these suckers for sale. Can do $400 shipped in the US on him if anyone is looking for one.

 

FYI - Tainbotoy, the company who makes the cheapest/similified version of Hercules, just released a Perseus recolor of their mold. It's not pretty, but it's super cheap. Sells for about $17 in China.

The mold is old and has its share of issues, but if you like the look of it, the price is probably about as good as it gets.

You could check with sirtoys.com Add it to your want list and see if he can find one. If not maybe ebay?
