And to answer the question about price drop, yes it has dropped the price of the original bruticus maximus and munitioner and explorer, at least on ebay. Both MIB on ebay have sold for upwards of $450, just do a completed listing search. If you had bought extra of the originals and sold them before the news of these repaints coming down, you could have bought 2 entire new sets, one for MISB and one to display.

Look at the Munitioner/Explorer page... finally added a link saying what the set is used for. Probably should add a small product shot of Bruticus, and maybe do what TFS does... offer small discounts for buying both as an incentive.

That said... damn I'd like to jump on this reissue set now... stupid how a new accessory drives one to do so. >_<

I kid of course. As a little add-on, this is awesome. So glad I didn't cancel my preorder like I was going to. Leave it to Fans Project to add just enough to warrant the purchase. Hopefully they do sell the additional bits and pieces for the original early adopters. I know personally I have two Munitioners, two Explorers, and one of each repaint in addition to this new version.

I used the combining kibble from one set with the two repaints to make a Battle Gaia to go with my Bruticus, and although Bruticus is already wielding WST Shockwave, I would definitely prefer to give him an updated version designed with the traditional Fans Project flair.

Since Mech Ideas made Long Blast Upgrade Kit with a shockwave and megatron gun included, i would have preferred a mini sixshot gun. Still cool anyways though.

i feel like that would just be a slap in the face if we didn't get it individually, or at least in another set that more people will want (not that this set isn't gonna be popular, it's just that I don't need the limbs again). If we get him in a different shade of purple or in Shackwave colours, that would be dandy

 

Gutted. My first forary in 3P figures are this, and HR Drone, and now these guys are late and no news on Drone's release either  

Still, a free mini Shockwave will make it better.

 

I've considered buying and not bought these sets so many damn times. One day maybe, but other stuff jus always takes priority.

Or you could always just pick up a WST shockwave, as cool as it is to get this little quake fella, WST shocky still looks better in gun mode.

 

It is more a matter of being an FP collector than the gun itself.

 

Seriously FP---I'm far less concerned about add-on freebies, than WHAT COLOR THE COMBINER PARTS WILL BE. Silver? Grey? Silvery-grey? Same beige as first release?

(main point being how well they'll match the new Asia release Onslaught, and the original Energon Barricade)

 

Was the asian release delayed? Maybe FP needs to wait until they get one in hand to match the colour?
