I felt that the city commander upgrade was clear and yes customer service reps with a name and company attached usually have more credibility. However I am wrong this time my brother who I just spoke with also received an email from Jen and she said te exact opposite in the email. She said the new colors will be up for pre order soon.

If these are NOT the new repaint then how did bbts come up with so many originals?

 

There's nothing to indicate on the Munitioner/Explorer order pages that these are the new repaints. Theoretically, the repaints certainly won't be out this month, since the Takara Bruticus set hasn't been released yet and I presume Fansproject will need that in hand first for color-matching.

It's happened before. They could have sourced more units, or they had some in their warehouse, or actually obtained more from Fansproject, etc..

I do not believe anyone thinks you were trying to mislead anyone - I think everyone is in agreement that BBTS does not know what is going on themselves...........

 

I sent them another email. If these are indeed a re-release of the originals, i'm cancelling this preorder. Waiting to find out more....

I can't bring myself to pay these prices for this thing. If this were a completely new 3rd party Bruticus, that would be different. But $130 for what amounts to an extremely mediocre $30 toy + $200 for fixes that used to cost half that price? No thanks.

 

I doubt this is the re-color since only BBTS has it listed, TFS would have had a crack too. The restock is strange, indeed. It is an easy capital-generator for FP if they want to sell some product and make quick cash to fund Menasor or whatever else they need

 

Im in this same boat. U can slap us both if we dont get any munitioner/explroer.

 

When the recolour preorders go up, I'll definitely be bagging a set of those and cancelling my preorder of the reissues; so you'll see them pop up - and I know I'm not alone!

 

Anyone want to email Fansproject along with me? i've been sending them emails this pat week asking about whther or not this is genuinely the recolors, but they haven't been replying.

 

I get the impression they're... rather busy right now. I'm sure we'll hear something soon!

 

TBH, I seem more excited about THESE two than my MP OP PO!
