Truck mode is kind of lame. Other then that it looks pretty cool.

I voted for Super_Megatron and all I got was this stupid user title.

Looks good. Much better than their first attempt.

I hope the QC is much better than their first go. If so, this should be a winner for them.

That said, not my cup of tea. With all the Official and 3P stuff coming out I really need to stick to my "on screen" characters only rule. (except for FP stuff and Wreckers)

That does look cool and Powermaster Optimus was always one of my favourite TF's. I will pass on this though. I am eagerly awaiting ToyWorlds rendition of Optimus to go along with my Hegemon and don't want to waste the cash on something for classics prime when I will be getting rid of him in the future -

Truck mode is unimpressive, but the bot mode looks ok. I hope Xovergen learned from their previous attempt, as even though I don't want this set they do produce some cool looking designs.

The skepticism on the part of retailers. Their first big product was a pretty huge flop, and had design and build quality issues that made people unhappy. Understandably, retailers are hesitant to outlay triple digit wholesale costs on batches of this toy with no idea whether they have actually turned their game around and created a winner, and no reason to think their customers will want to take the risk in large numbers.

At least, that's my position on it. I'd bet money other dealers feel the same.

Can't blame the retailers. If it were me, I wouldn't have ordered these either. I'd have been like "Xovergen? Yeah... I COULD order a bunch of those.... OR, I could order a bunch of TFC Phantoms that I know WILL SELL."

So the concern of mine is, as a consumer... What if it IS a big hit? What if its the next big thing? I'm worried about waiting for reviews and then discover that you can't get it because Robot Kingdom is the only one that took a chance and its all gone...

I definitely understand the risk... Hopefully if it's a hit, they'll reoffer it to retailers. Not sure how that works.

Getting it but I'm not too impressed. Looks half-assed in all modes.
Selling my collection here. From G1 to now, Botcon, 3rd party, name it. Updated 04.30.13.

Unless RK bought ALL of them, Xovergen will probably have more to ship out. The question I'd have is - how many did they START with? They might not have produced alot knowing that folks would be skeptical.

This one could either be a sleeper like the Igear Ark Playset, or a complete and utter piece of crap. We won't know until it gets some reviews.

This looks great, but like many of you I'm very hesitant. For now it's a definite pass unless the reviews are just stellar.
