Outstanding! I'll be looking forward to more progress pics and updates. I've wanted a WFC Omega Supreme since I first played the game. Hell, I've wanted the whole roster of characters in the WFC style. I hope Planet X is successful and can bring us a WFC Trypticon as well. If they felt compelled to produce a WFC/FOC inspired Scorponok, I wouldn't complain. Anyways, the more WFC/FOC figures made the happier I am.

The little interest I had in this completely diminished when Hasbro announced theirs. Probably cheaper price + better proportions = better for me

yeah, the alt mode is crappy.. I rather buy the third party(project genesis). It turns into a spaceship..

I actually don't mind the alt mode, since it's reminiscent of the G1 "put multiple parts together to form robot" shtick. Plus I was never a big fan of a lot of the WFC alt modes.

I wonder if this will be another 3rd party idea that HasTak murdered with a release like their MP Soundwave did?

I kind of like them doing this.

I hope not, as I kind of want a WFC Omega Supreme. If this is the trend that Hasbro is going with, they've definitely got my attention, (and looking like more and more of my dollars.)

I love them doing that, but I'd prefer completely new molds instead of repaints/remolds.
Definitely getting Omega Supreme over Genesis though :D

Ooooh that one thanks- I really like the looks of it - agreed though wish they could have done a revamp on the alt mode.

I think there is still a market for the 3rd party Genesis figure for those who want to purchase a new Omega mold and appreciate screen accuracy. It looks pretty good so far - but do wish they could beef up the legs a bit.

I wonder if they started working on this thing when the WFC came out. Really hope this does sell well, it would be killer if they made a WFC Trypticon to match this guy. I really just hope I don't like either enough to want to get them. I can only imagine the price point on something this big.

I would've prefered they did Trypticon first. He's hands down more interesting, is less likely to be done by anyone else and is more "iconic" to the game. (being one of the most flaunted bosses during the lead-up to release) Seems like he would've been the safer bet and more advantagous.

A new head is minor, but the completely new right arm is not minor.

We assume it does. It's cheats completely in the game. Don't bet on this being even halfway accurate.

Also the alt modes on the redeco one aren't crappy. The battleship one's actually pretty slick and the former-railcrane is far from bad. Now it's rail-mounted cannon or something. Regardless, the engine looks fine. This will probably end up being a "sort-of like something but not really" spaceship that exists soley to give this thing an alt mode.

The Hasbro version is much more appealing to those without bottomless wallets. Being reasonably accurate, better proportioned for some and far, far less expensive than this will inevitably be.
