Man you had me freaked out. I was ready to be pissed, because in order to get this I have to order it through CP with store credit I'm waiting for Sidecutter to put on my account, but he's been too busy with all the Quakewave's and Car Crashes and whatnot. But I just checked and Genesis is still listed as in stock. I'm still not 100% sure I'm getting this, but I'm getting very close to pulling the trigger and if he has no more stock I'm 100% for sure NOT getting it.

 

Well he only has one left it looks like, so hopefully the store credit will be added quickly so you can get him.

Just waiting for this damn store credit to go through! Don't know what's taking so long... Been waiting for two weeks... I hate to bust Sideutter's chops cause I know the stress he is going through with everything else, but I already missed out using the credit on one item that sold out while I've been waiting, I'll be kind of pissed if it happens again.

 

You could always email Sidecutter and tell him to put that Genesis aside for you so that he doesn't need to rush and give you the credit and you don;t need to worry about it selling.

CP's extremely busy past few weeks is leaving a lot of people with a sour taste in their mouth. I love CP but I'm worried about my FP figures. IF that second shipment doesn't happen I lose my figures and only because I decided to order extra and give more money to CP than those that bought a single figure. Rule of business, cater to your biggest clients first. He mentioned that no matter what he did someone would be miffed, well miff off the $60 clients not your $240 clients. But that is me worrying about actual stock coming in because FP has been dropping the ball lately. As for waiting? Whatever, these guys mean little to me until I get MotorMaster.

I kno Orson has explain the situation, which is really cool, but I still think he dealt with it poorly in the grand scheme of things. I am still a loyal customer and he will still me my go to shop but if I do lose out on the FP figures then that will unfortunately change. And the worst part? That is out of Orsons control.

 

We'll see. I had been patient and not wanting to bug him so had previously said to take his time, because I was in no rush. But that was before I planned to get Genesis and realized his stock was so low. Before I was going to use the credit to get munitioner and explorer and maketoys chaos paladin, but he sold out of munitioner while I was waiting and I'm just as wishy washy on chaos paladin. The real choice for me is between picking up MP-11 Sunstorm, which I've always wanted, but I think its better to have something unique like Genesis in my collection than a repaint of a mold I love, but already own. And it would also be kind of strange for me to have Thundercracker, a coneheads and Sunstorm before having Starscream or skywarp lol. A bit backwards.

Well I've emailed him today asking him to just put up my store credit ASAP. Seems that should be the same difference time wise for him I would think. If someone else does buy it between now and then I'll just have to hope RK still has them in stock in August when my better job picks back up.

Lol, he must hate everyone discussing him and how he should spend his time. Comes with the territory of running awoke proprietorship I guess. Particularly when that business revolves around the patronage of whiny adults who are still obsessed with toys lol.

 

I think I might be ordering next week from Toy Arena. I am getting a bonus from work that I will use to buy it. I hope they will still have it. I am still deciding between this and Fort Max. Still not sure...

 

This buys this....fort max is more a nostalgia thing, I'd love to have him, but I chose this guy, and don't regret it a bit, bc this is really the best TF I've ever owned

 

Speaking of which, I'd love to see a trypcticon next but after that considering the quality and engineering of this guy, a g1 style OS would be amazing

 

I have no nostalgia factor with Fort Max, I mostly feel like I should. I mostly collect MP and classics. This looks like a nice classics style update for Omega. I know it is WFC Omega, but the character always sort of had a Cybertronion look. With the Rocket and Base mode, it just seems like it is a good Classics update. I think it looks amazing with Herc. But if people think it might not fit into a classics style collection I might have to pass. I don't want to pick it up them get it and be disappointed. I don't collect WFC or FOC. Does anyone have any pics of him with classics? What do you think of him hanging out with classics?

 

He looks absolutely massive in a Classics collection...exactly as he should. A Deluxe is slightly less the size of one of his forearms. His cannon arm is roughly the size of FOC Grimlock. Seriously, there was no question in my mind - Genesis > FortMax.

 

Alrighty.... Sidecutter came through with my store credit tonight and after some debate between Chaos Paladin ad MP-11s, the bullet is bit and I paid for Genesis  

The final decision came down to my fiancé looking at my MattyCollector Voltron and insisting I needed another big ass figure to go with him because, and I quote, "Voltron has a fucking attitude problem"

Hope he lives up to all the hype!

Well it looks like Toy Arena pulled it from their site. Complete bs if you ask me. They are selling it on eBay for $489, freaking jerks. I guess I won't be getting it after all.

 

So other etailers aren't an option??

 

Robot Kingdom still has plenty in stock and even with EMS, I think it will still be less than 400.
