Xovergen's "Rolling Thunder" Primes were quite small. Are you thinking of the custom by one of the Radicons that was in scale with G.I.Joe figures? That was just a single piece by a customizer...not a mass-produced figure.

Genesis (to my knowledge) is the largest mass-produced third party Transformer.

Holy Shnikey I had no clue how small that figure is. I always thought he was an extremely big piece of crap vs a voyager sized piece of crap.

So Genesis is the clear winner.

In G1, Omega Supreme's nemesis was Devastator...and we have a perfect combatant in Hercules (or Giant) to fight Genesis.

However, it seems that in the IDW lore, Monstructor is Omega Supreme's foil. Makes me want a Monstructor. At least until Planet-X can give us a Trypticon.

Had him since the weekend, still loving him and fiddling with him. I wish the sideways movement on the arm joints were as strong as the lateral movement.

Just to clarify; so this is in relation to broken parts on a stock figure correct, and not the projected timeframe for the release of the Planet X Genesis new head for this guy?

That is correct. The response was in regards to my replacement part.

I opened a Paypal dispute today as it was my last chance to do so under Paypal's Buyer Protection. Hopefully this just forces RobotKingdom to open another Genesis and ship me the part needed to complete my figure.

I appreciate their communication and understand they are at the mercy of Planet-X, but I have to protect myself and my investment.

    I did the same today.

It was an expensive figure, and require major part replacements. Robot Kingdom do not want to issue a complete replacement, so this is the only other alternative.

I am hoping they will hold Planet-X accountable and get the parts soon.

I think that you guys panicked. If RK said there's a delay then there is one, you just have to wait. I wasn't given a hip replacement for my Heavy labour and I asked why. They said they ran out of stock and were waiting for another shipment in a months time. A month later I received email saying the part was shipped. I think some of these stories of RK having terrible service have spooked you guys into thinking they're just gonna ignore you guys.

RK's service is great if not a tad slower due to being overseas.

I had an issue of a missing piece for my Prime Breakdown figure. I mailed them the pic and they emailed me with notice that the missing piece is in the mail. The transaction was a smooth as any I recieved from any of the other great sites out there.

Unless something changed in the last few months, Robot Kingdom is the real deal.

Well, I know I personally have my reasons, and LDM may have them as well.

To be 100% honest, I haven't had any problems with RobotKingdom historically. I've placed orders, I've had problems, and I've received a replacement. However, about 8 months ago, a good friend had a problem with his Rage of Hercules upgrade set, and is still at this time fighting to get a replacement.

I simply can't allow that to happen with a $300 purchase. I want a complete figure. I was honest in my Paypal dispute and even mentioned that RobotKingdom did respond saying that the part was delayed to April. But, I think it's unwise to go with Buyer Protection, and opening the dispute gives me protection through mid-April (which is when they advised they would have the part).

However, all that is moot, as I already got the answer I'm looking for. RobotKingdom sent me an e-mail immediately after opening the dispute advising that they could open another Genesis figure to get the part :)

Hey at $300 I would freak too. With my Breakdown I had to reply to their first email. My first email reply was "we are looking in to it". I replied with, what does that mean nad how am I getting my piece? Then I got the proper reply of, it is in the mail.

It sucks that you had to go one extra step and open a PP despute but hey RK is sending you your piece. :)

I do not own Genesis because life changed and he got the cut but he is a sweet figure and you all deserve a minty mint perfectly working version.

I may buy him still if the upgrade kit turns out to be a G1 conversion kit.

Yeah, a Paypal dispute is just a helping hand to get open and honest, recorded dialogue. Opening a claim however, means the open dialogue didn't work, and I want my money back...and that's not what I'm asking at this point.

Transbot, let Genesis be a personal goal for you. It's totally worth every penny in the end run, but I certainly understand it's a very rough year in terms of third party products, and that's not counting all Hasbro products and the Club.

Personally, I lucked out, as I had a lot of stuff that I have acquired over the past few years as duplicates and/or good deals I couldn't pass up, and I was able to turn that stuff around and get Genesis and most of the stuff I wanted for the year. I also stopped buying Hasbro products for the most part and of course, the Club stuff.

Genesis is (right now) the most epic third party product I own, and definitely the king of my collection. I'm sure it'll eventually be topped (maybe even by Planet-X themselves), but until that time, try to save some money here and there to get him. Even check the boards. I saw a member selling one for $305 shipped last week.

    You won't regret it!

I can vouch for RK as far as Planet X/OS goes as they came through for me and even worked out some customs issues. Very satisfied with the service and especially the product.:thumbs2:

I've had no complaint with them in the past, but I asked them if they would just exchange Gen. and they said to wait for the parts.

At the very least we are talking about replacement arms for genesis, which is a big deal. At $375 (which includes shipping) I am too invested in this to have any chance that I will not get replacements for defective parts.

Robot Kingdom may come through, but until I e-mailed them a week after they were supposed to be shipped the parts the first time, they didn't e-mail me an update. Considering this is the very last day I can open a dispute, it was only prudent that I cover my investment. I've never heard horror stories or not, but it is just common sense.

We certainly didn't panic, we waited to the last moment to open one, and are now covering our bases.

I've only recently become tempted to get Genesis. I have no specific love for omega supreme, and I certainly can't afford this so won't be buying it anytime in the near to far future, but whereas at first I looked at it and thought 'meh', now I think its wickedly badass.

Sorry to hear that...feedback like this is important to share....please continue to share the experience until completion and good luck. That's a heavy investment to issues with.

See this is what I'm going through right now, I'm honestly considering skipping on FP's menasor and selling the parts of him that I already have to get Genesis. :lol
