So hyped!! I wish that all of the leds could be activated by a single switch instead of individually but that is not a deal breaker. Bring on the preorder!!

No Alt mode pics of the Prototype, but it's based on the WFC Omega Supreme.

even if the LEDs were on/off switch I think they'd be more awesome, rather than "hold pressed = on"

with 5 LEDs, you'd need 3 people to light up omega.

 

Looks like you have to press it to turn it off/on. Not holding it down in order to keep it on, otherwise it would never lit up like that on Omega.

 

Just a thought, but maybe the compartments where the LEDs are housed are only big enough that when they're closed, the LEDs always have pressure applied.

They're probably toggles, not press and hold.

 

I think cutting/keeping them well trimmed should be the first rule...

Can those who don't pre-order purchase the LED parts separately at a later date? I can't imagine that two versions are going to be produced, so why not have these freebies for sale later on down the road too?

OP, do you know? are they toggle or hold switches? makes a huge difference. I know toggle switches that size are pretty rare.

 

If they weren't toggle how would they show off the LEDs inside the toy without showing someone activating it manually? Unless they're using different LEDs inside the toy for these photos, which I doubt.

I am always on the hunt for mini-switches, and have rarely come across ones that are toggle, usually they are momentary action, like these :

 

The Dr. Wu LEDs for Hercules have a rotation switch, they stay on or off.
