Does this fit on the Striker versions of RotF Prime?

 

I got mine for $65 shipped originally   Uncle Billy took a bath on that sale unless these cost $20 at wholesale  

 

This is still in my top 5 best 3rd Party releases. It is awesomely cool and is the only TF that remains in my living room overseeing the TV cabinet. It is awe inspiring with the Striker colored Prime and some articulated hands. Many people mistake it for a statue.

I think that's about what I got mine for as well. This new one is almost $100 on BBTS...

I think its great this is getting rereleased, as someone above said its a fantastic kit! I painted some detail onto mine anyway, with a small brush or some gundam markers it's easy to improve on the stock

A metallic version now, eh? Neat but not quite worth it enough for me to pick up this new version to replace my original version.

 

I'm late to the Prime upgrade game so pre-ordered....

 

If I wanted the most movie accurate ROTF Jetpower Prime without having to paint it, Which version of Optimus and FWI-3 should I get? AA Leader Prime (Forest Battle with hooks) and 1st release FWI-3?

 

Just received my FWI-3m which I purchased on ebay.
Boxed up very well and only took 8 days to arrive from a seller in China so very pleased so far.
At work so can't attach to my Optimus Prime yet but the actual kit looks really nice.
Don't have experience of the original FWI-3 but the colour on the FWI-3m looks graphite in comparison to Leader Jetfire.
It's similar to Masterpiece Soundwave in that you can see sparkles in the plastic.
Plastics feel good quality but thin so I'll be handling gently.
The cannon is huge (would make a decent life size pistol if it had a handle) so can wait to get home and give my Optimus some serious firepower.
One criticism would be that FWI could have given the red paint a second coat to make it brighter.

 

The ab harness disintegrated on me. The plastic around the pin shattered for some reason. I just bought it brand new from a member too! I displayed it for one night and it just fell apart! Anyone else have this problem?

 

One of the sides did it to me once I got it from a member. I think its just a problem it has. But I just super glued it and left the armor on.

 

I've not had this happen to mine but after getting my black Prime in his new outfit but I don't fiddle with it much either. Such a fantastic display piece. Would like to get around to painting some of the gibblies on the booster engine things at some point.

 

Does anyone have one for sale?

 

Mine also disintegrated in a few spots. The one piece that holds the rear tailfin snapped with no physical contact, and the rear park of the gun literally crumbled.

 

Can't vouch for the seller. I bought one of these (not necessarily from this seller) but never took it out of the box so can't vouch for quality.

You can search ebay for a similar name though to see if you find sellers you're more comfortable with.

same thing happened to mine with the rear tailfin.

 

I sold my set off years ago. I hope the Ironhide add-on set I got is okay.
