    What I know so far:

    - $50 a piece starting in November for the limbs ($80 for Motormaster)
Possibly $100 2 packs for the limbs?
CAR CRASH! So much for the two packs?

    - Figures will release on a schedule of one every month or two (similar to Hercules).
    Two packs would change this.

    - Menasor should be completed by May
I'd be impressed if this still happens

    - Motormaster will be voyager size with a trailer. Hands, feet, and accessories will store in the trailer.

    - 11.5" tall in combined mode

    - Deadend seems to be inspired by the Ferarri FXX. I saw grey and painted proto photos. Seems odd to me since he was a Porsche in G1

    - Dragstrip seems to be based on the Lamborghini PML-F Formula 1 Concept. This is based on what I could see from the phone photos.

Ages 3 & Up: FansProject - CA-09 Causality Car Crash - Ages Three And Up

    KNOWN QC/DESIGN ISSUES & FIXES:

*Leg transformation hard. Pegs may need sanding/filing
*Foot is very hard to open. Make sure that the heel is folded out before the toe.
    *Some gapping in Alt-Mode.
*Arms difficult to line up/peg in for Alt-Mode, and to un peg when transforming to Robot. Make sure that arms are fully slid back until a click is heard. Some filing might be required on pegs.
*Gun is difficult to remove from it's pegs where they are stored in Alt-Mode. Slight sanding/filing might be needed. Make sure that gun halves are not pushed too far onto the tabs or excessive force will be required to remove them.

    CA-10 T-BONE (Wildrider)

ALT-MODE: Lamborghini Ankorian (NB: This is not a real car. It only exists as a model created as a concept design)

    KNOWN QC/DESIGN ISSUES & FIXES:

*Gapping between door (arm) and windshield (Leg) in Alt-Mode. Dis-assembly of the arm may be required.
*No clearence for the robot chest in Alt-Mode leading to poor rolling and paint scrapage.
*Gun is awkward to store in Alt-Mode.
*Slight gap between legs in Alt-Mode, on underside only. Some light sanding may be required.
*Wheel gets in way of foot leading to slight balance issues.
*As with Car Crash, ensure that arm is pushed all the way back until it clicks when transforming to Alt-Mode.
*Some difficulty with leg transformation, although can be better than Car Crash as the wheels can be moved completely out of the way. Some light filing of pegs may still be required.

    CA-11 DOWN FORCE (Dragstrip)

    ALT MODE: Caparo T1

    DIMENSIONS:

    Vehicle Mode; Width: 2.25" (57mm), Length: 4.5" (115mm)
Robot Mode; Height to top of head: 4.5" (114mm)

Kapow Toys: Fansproject Causality CA-11 Down Force - Kapow Toys
    Ages 3 & Up: FansProject - CA-12 Down Force

KNOWN QC DESIGN ISSUES & FIXES:

*Clear plastic windshield is brittle, and will break if rotated in the wrong direction or forced past it's stop point. It should be rotated CLOCKWISE when transforming from car to robot, and ANTI/COUNTER CLOCKWISE when transforming from Robot to car. Please note that the instructions show to rotate it clockwise for both transformations, they are wrong. Take it slowly and gently, making sure that there is nothing blocking the rotation (Head, shoulders and hips) and once you feel resistance, stop. Under no circumstances try and force it.
*When transforming from robot to car, make sure that the feet are positioned BEFORE you slide the windshield back to Alt-Mode position. Take one leg at a time and make sure that the feet are not blocking the rotation bar under the windshield before you slide it back. Again, take it slowly, and if you fell resistance stop and check to see what's blocking it.
*The front spoiler peice is very thin and susceptible to stressing or breakage. Be aware of it when posing (it ends up on his shoulders) and do not use it to pull apart the arms when transforming to robot. Instead use your nail to split them from the middle and open them out.
*Some reports of the ball joint that attaches the nose of the car to his bicep sliding out. The ball joint itself is a seperate piece and may need glueing to keep it in.

    COMBINED MODE - INTIMIDATOR (Menasor)

Projected Combined Mode Height: 11.5 Inches (295mm)

    KNOWN INFORMATION:

*Limbs appear to be 'Scramble City'
*M3 (Motor Master) Splits in half, half way along his trailer. The front section forms M3's Robot mode and Intimidator's Torso. The rear section contains all additional combined mode pieces and weapons.
*It is not yet known whether the rear of the trailer can form any sort of base mode, but FP have apparently said that nothing is left over in any mode.
*Intimidator's sword is formed from the side panels of M3's trailer. M3's shotguns are formed from the rear doors/bumper of the trailer.

Do you mean Motormaster will be voyager size?
Looks great so far, although I'd have to see limb modes before I start drooling :D

Am I the only one not feeling not-Wildrider's alt-mode? I'm gonna buy Menasor but I was hoping for a newer Ferrari like the F430 or the Berlinetta

Well, it's a fictional car, so I agree. But if the other 3 limbs are good, and if Motormaster himself is a classic semi-trailer, I'll live with it.

Still---why a real Lambo and a fake Lambo, instead of a real Lambo and a real Ferrari, like they originally were?

Anyways---anyone else think not-Breakdown's gun looks like G1 Menasor/Motormaster's gun?

I really like the car modes on these guys. The fact that they are concepts and not real cars doesn't bother me. It even makes them a little bit more cool. Robot modes also look great, until you look at them from behind. The kibble there is a little worse than Maketoys Giant's. That combined with the fact that they use add-on parts from the trailer to combine downgrades this Menasor for me. I'll still buy and enjoy it, it'll still be a great looking combiner with good indivisual modes, but I wonder if any of the third paty designers can really step up and make a perfect transformation combiner. FoC Bruticus may not look anywhere near as good as this, but it at least shows that Takara and Hasbro are looking to make a fully self contained combiner. Good lord, typing that out really makes me relize how much I want a Masterpiece combiner.

I'd rather have a partsforming combiner like FP Bruticus than a self-integrated combiner like FOC Bruticus...
On a side note: what's with that hole/port on Wildrider's crotch?

I think having integrated parts in a combiner is overrated. Especially if it makes the combined mode looks as trashy as FoC Bruticus.

    Hahaha oh wow

inb4 all the jokes and innuendos

I agree, my point is I want to see the next step up in engineering and have a perfect transformation combiner that looks truely great in all modes. It's possible, in fact Studio Halfeye has already done some stuff years ago and the Bandai's Soul of Chogokin line has some impressive stuff too (they just have one less mode than a Transformers combiner teams have, usually a robot/vehicle and combined mode). It feels like we are on the verge of seeing a masterpiece level combiner, the companies involved just have to believe in it.

Both bots shown so far have that hexagonal hole/port. If I had to guess I would say it has something to do with how they combine in gestalt mode.

For the parts forming/no parts forming debate.

I will take parts forming please.

Do you know what those holes are for? I'll tell you: sex. They're for toy robot sex.

Anyway! These guys.. they look so good. I'm drooling. Drooling! At $50 a pop.. I'll pick up the set, easily. FP is really leading the pack here..

$50 for each of the limbs! If not-Motormaster is $70 then that's not too bad. I also don't mind parts-forming as long as the parts are functional (like a shield, weapon, etc).

Complete agreement on this one. If it takes parts forming to make the combined mode look great, then do it!

And don't even get me started on the scramble cityaspect...

LuckY! So how much, or how little, does the consept art resemble this?

i really like the car modes , but i would have preferred futuristic looking vehicles instead. The alt modes dont really match fansproject's standard aesthetic.

that said i might actually get these

I'm sure color will help sell me on these guys more. I'm fine with parts forming since the core figure doesn't have to suffer from containing combiner parts.

Wheels on wildrider's shoulders don't spin...really? Otherwise he looks dope as hell.
