The shoulders look really high in that silhouette, and there doesn't appear to be much distance between the shoulder joint and the elbow. I fear for shoulder articulation.

How well does the car integration work? It looks like half the cars fold into part of the forearm and something else attaches to it, but it seems like the cars fill out a skeleton for the feet.

There are too many awesome things going on right now. It is difficult to keep track of it all.

Can't wait to see more Stunticons.

Can you at least tell us if Motormaster's vehicle mode is a cabover/COE style truck (like G1) or a conventional (like movie Prime)?

(I refuse to use the incorrect "long-nose" etc terms---the real terms are cabover and conventional---only TF fans seem to have invented their own words) :)

Yeah. Looking at where the eyes are the proportions look off as his head looks buried compared to those high shoulders. I get he has those blocks next to his head it's the silhouette that is doing it no favours.

I await clear & colour pics.

It was a quick glance on a long day so I don't recall all the details. I think MM was a cab over like G1 Prime. What I really recall is how impressive it looked as a whole (cab and trailer).

As mentioned in this thread. Releases start in November and will be spread out until May. They are aiming for $50 a car but I didn't get a price on Motormaster.

They did say Assaulter should be $90 and for that size and weight (he is heavy) that is a great price.

Very nice, I've been staying away from unofficial toys lately due to prices and the shear amount of stuff being churned out but this seems very reasonable and I do love car transformers.

I know I'm in the minority and I am still very impressed with how these guys look, but I had really hoped they'd be bigger. I know I had no reasonable expectation of them being bigger what with the "generally agreed upon approximate combiner height" between FT and FPJ, but I really want some deluxe sized stunticons.

It's next to impossible to get Decepticons that are in good alt-mode scale with basically all the Autobots. If you want 1/30ish Decepticons, you've either gotta repurpose guys from another line (Lockdown) or shell out big bucks for exclusive repaints (Battle Chargers, 3/5ths of the Stunticons).

Are there so few 84-86 Decepticons that we need repaints? Heck no. Repaints are for seekers and autobots.

Er.. I digressed a bit. Sorry.

Anyway, I know it's not important to everyone, and again these guys are gorgeous and I'm pretty much definitely gonna buy them.. but I had hoped.

I am neither extremely for nor extremely against the idea of partsforming with this project. It's a complete fallacy to try and compare FOC Bruticus with FPJ-enhanced Bruticus on this. FPJ Bruticus has absolutely no choice but to partsform unless they ditch the Energon bots. It also retailed for a fair amount more and was designed specifically to appeal to our market. It has no excuse not to look better. There's really no comparison. If the Giant vs Herc battle taught us anything it's that when an appropriate amount of care is given to the design of a combiner, neither approach yields a clear winner. Both have their ardent fans, but I think most would agree that neither completely stomped the shit out of the other in any categories but size and price.

As a general rule I prefer the integrated-kibble approach, but the Stunticons are unique in that they have a perfect alibi in Motormaster's trailer about where all that junk goes when they don't use it. Everyone else is stuck with hiding partsforming parts with (lets face it) extremely contrived looking weapons and backpacks that look suspiciously like anything but backpacks.

Also it would make sense that Menasor, being by far the smallest combiner going by alt modes (apart from maybe Defensor) would bulk himself up with extra bits.

These are suppose to be deluxe size right?

No, not the "it's deluxe-ish" ("voyager-ish") almost every fanboy screams here.

I have picture with both Stunticons, Defender and Assaulter that I won't be able to post until tonight or tomorrow. That will and size issues. Did I mention Assaulter is big and heavy?

The FP guys were EXTREMELY cool with letting people handle the toys.

EDIT. To the post above, Herc is 12.5-12.75" max.this guy will be just an inch shorter. Aren't Giant ands Brute 11.5"?

Alot of whinners are complaining about the price of the figures but I TFC Devastator is badass I have never owned any figure that big and that solid, I'll say it was worth the price. If 3rd party stuff is to expensive for you go buy some Bot shots and repaints, leave the gestalts to the big boys. BTW I can't wait to see MotorMaster!

$600 is still pretty unreasonable for a good majority of us. Especially when there is a competitor that costs half of that. One reason I went with Giant was because of price. It's not that we can't stomach expensive toys, but Herc was probably the most costly 3P item yet.
